Expect a run on O linemen early second, there are a few Centers, a massive OG, and a guy who can play all 5 spots on the OL who Pat Kirwan says is one of the nastiest linemen in the draft, (39) Pat Kirwan gave him a first round grade. He also said Jack Campbell would not get out of the first round, sometimes you have to listen to a GM. The Jaguars were forced to take a OT with a 2.16 grade and traded back twice trying to recoup the loss of taking a player early. Anton Harrison was 43 on my board, 57 on DJ's board, again you have to adjust to players that have good fits that is how I set my board, no QB or RB early and I value TE more than most since "Muth is going to want a big pay day in 2 years, his backups are TE3 and TE4 on most teams. Plus with his concussion history I think this deep class is where you grab one.

Tomlin's own son went into the transfer portal.. Something tells me they aren't using that as an indicator of whether a player is draft-able.

 

Players that enter the portal will probably want to force a trade. That is what I’m thinking about it.

 

Oh, I understand what you were saying. What I am saying is Tomlin, I'm sure, has a lot of influence on his son and if they felt that way about players.. He wouldn't have let his son enter. I don't think they look at it very hard. Maybe if every other indicator were equal among two prospects, they could use it as a tie breaker, but that's about it.

It's quite a thought though that every player that enters the portal will "probably want to force a trade". I think you are over thinking it..

 

I was thinking about the last two drafts and I honestly can’t remember a player that we drafted that entered the portal. Maybe I’m overthinking it like you said.
