Right. I should have remembered the Zs at least. And of course Louisville bringing all the Ys. No Ulysses? Disappointed.

Edit: Apparently Ole Miss has a RB named Ulysses NEXT year.

NFL.com's prospect list does not have one either. There probably is someone eligible but no one that will be drafted.

Thanks for joining us once again, @matthewwillson29 !

Eric Gray is one of the more interesting RBs in this year's class. He transferred from Tennessee to Oklahoma when Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt got fired. I watched him a bit when he was at Tennessee. I'd call him a true "every down" back - he's good for inside runs, patient when making the cut on outside runs, has pass protection blocking skills and is a reliable receiver on screens or outlet passes. There's simply no need to take him off the field.

And then you followed up by getting him an inside/outside lead blocking hammer for him in Whyle. That's what makes them both stand out on your list - the combination. Put together, it's a pair of instant contributors that you pulled out of the hat on Day Three of what we're discovering is a thin draft class.

    Saints select
    Jalen Redmond, DT, Oklahoma

Kinda funny that the source for the "big list" has him as an edge rusher. He's a 291-pound DT that will probably be a 3-tech (or under tackle) in a 4-man front or a 5-tech DE in a 3-man front. Quick for a big man with good pass rush skills. Fell down the rankings mainly due to medical concerns (blood clots in lungs, knee issues). Definitely worth a flyer in the seventh round though. I'm a bit surprised he's still available.

They were probably my favorite picks to get that late. Plus Whyle is a Cincinnati kid, which add it to a Joe Burrow hometown favorite list, the Bengals would definately be stronger on that O-line, with this draft.

@LAOJoe are we doing the mock draft value challenge this year?

    Titans select
    Brandon Joseph, S, Notre Dame

He's a perfect example of how system fit matters - he was exceptional at Northwestern, then transferred to Notre Dame for his final year and wasn't as good, which is why he's still on the board in the final round.

We've been in "pick your traits" territory for at least three rounds now. What I see in Brandon Joseph is a solid special teams contributor (a must for late rounders hoping to make the back end of the roster) who is reliable and has the coverage skill and zone awareness for cover two duty or single high safety duty.

He's going to need some developmental time, sure. But he's capable, coachable, doesn't typically make the big mistakes, and should be able to contribute right away as a core special teams player, particularly as a gunner and jammer on the punt/punt return units. He's also a punt returner himself, in case the speedster that I drafted earlier gets hurt.

We could. I didn't want to step on Torgo's schedule though to force it in. We can do it counting 2 UDFA rounds like usual anyways.
