2023 Collaborative Mock Draft

A good character DB from Pittsburgh. Struggled against top 25 teams but showed a lot of promise and growth this past season. Needs to learn better instinctive measures for plays in front, but can play sideline to sideline very well.

 

Is it 49ers? I believe his name just wasn't on your list to begin with.

 

I think it's because he didn't find Hill's name. I checked the pages and didn't see him drafted. I edited the selection post to show the school so Torgo could copy it easier without having to look him up.

 

Right... I just had to double/triple check because there's a blank spot right where his name would have been on the big list.

It's done by first name. It was Braeden Daniels.

 

Shhhhhh, I search by last names, because you can find 20 Bryce's or Joe's, but there is only one ANUDIKE-UZOMAH

 

I remember this from looking up prospects a few years ago... the site I used to pull the list adds some prospects for whatever reason the week before the draft and also has wild swings in their rankings. I don't remember the name, but they way overrated a safety prospect back then (turned out to be a bust) and jumped him from like #80 overall into the back end of the first round in their list.

But... we just had our first official Stump The Truck moment.

 

The school helps just in case you really botch the player's name. Usually it's not an issue. Just happened to be that this time the list didn't have him.

 

Checking one more thing... did @Joe McDonnell make his pick yet or is that one still TBD?

We had one before. I added in Pittsburgh's RB. You just don't like Pittsburgh do you?

 

He did not. He came on when he was OTC and said he was busy with family and he'll pick later.

 

Cool. I was wondering if he came back and I just didn't see it.

Only been there once. I flew to Philadelphia and drove from there to Pittsburgh to see a band, then to Rochester to catch the next show, and then to Poughkeepsie to catch the one after that.

Took a side trip to see Niagara Falls from the Canadian side between Pittsburgh and Rochester. All the flags were at half staff. I didn't know why until I checked into my hotel room in Rochester before the show and turned on the TV. Turned out that was the night Princess Diana died.

 

I never expect Tim to be on after 9. I did text him but with so many early picks for Tampa tomorrow I don't think he felt an urgency to stay up.
