I barely survived through those last 5 picks I made since 121 with my list. I have like 2 names left on it and they aren't super enticing. Boutte, Mitchell and Kuntz were the last ones I truly had on there. Good night all and @Torgo I updated the board but did not include the trade as I don't even know which way the picks went if they even moved yet.
Jaylon Jones, CB, Texas A & M Bears literally already have one of these so from now on he will be referred to as "Another Jaylon Jones CB". I imagine the name on the back will be quite small.
I do lol. But I'm glad I've traded up for Tank Dell, if I've stayed at 136 and Dell got picked before I would have been waiting to pick Moody there.
I had already filled in the trade, right after I ate. Glad you got a chance to poke around inside the spreadsheet. I think the cut and paste approach is quicker/easier, especially with funky spellings. And it has also caught two picks that had already been made, so it's doing its main job. Potential idea for next year = put a pick number column next to the list of names and use formulas to fill them in on the various rounds pages. So when a pick is made, we just put a number next to the list, it's filled in automatically, and we can see if the player has already been taken because the pick number will be right there on the list. Getting the formula just right (preserving formatting etc) might be a bit tricky though.
An explanation for our new members: We typically add the chance to sign a few undrafted free agents at the end of these mock drafts. You'll see that mentioned at the bottom of the Round 7 page on the spreadsheet. It's completely optional. If you've had enough, no problem at all. Last year about half of us (including me, and I covered three teams) skipped it completely. But if you want more, that's your chance to pick a few more guys to add to your haul. Sometimes there's an order to it (with a posted schedule) and sometimes it's just a wide open free-for-all. Last year and this year it was a last-minute rush job to put the drafts together, so I opted to go for the free-for-all approach. I haven't made a page yet for tracking the players that are chosen as UDFAs, but I'll probably (no promises) have that added to the spreadsheet by Wednesday afternoon. So, Wednesday at 6pm Eastern (or 6:01pm if pick #259 is late), you can post that your team is signing one player of your choice. The first team that chooses to sign that player gets him. Repeat the process at 8pm Eastern for a second undrafted free agent of your choice. But no rush... you don't have to do it at those specific times (or at all). Sign them Thursday or even later if you like. And there's always one or two people requesting a third or fourth UDFA. So for anyone who STILL wants more, you can name the third one anytime starting at 10am Eastern on Thursday. If you want a fourth, sure, whatever. Post it at least two hours after you post the third one. I'll be working quite a bit Wed evening and Thursday morning, but I'll try to pop in and fill them all in the spreadsheet... eventually...
I'm hanging around, so it should be pretty short work for my next pick when he comes on or we get to 11:20 am
No it's my fault too. I have a dumb clock in front of me that has the hour hand half an hour ahead. It needs to be replaced but we are holding off since we are doing renos. So at 10:50 the damn thing looks like it says 11:55, 5 minutes fast on purpose, but the hour hand is actually closer to the 11 than the 12 as it would normally be.
