Eagles probably draft him as a Guard though. They apparently showed him guard film at their interview.
"Felix whatever" added to the confusion because LAOJoe was the one who posted the full name. So if you aren't looking closely, it looked like LAOJoe had already picked. No biggie. We got it sorted, and nobody even got sniped out of all that.
Not so sure about that last part. Rams board has been like an overdone minefield the last 10 picks, starting with me trying to trade up for Ringo for about 10 picks before he finally disappeared.
Last night the Rams had a shortlist of about 5 names. I have 2 picks between 3.6 and 3.14 and naively hoped to land two of them. Sydney Brown was the last name on that list. So I at least got one. Not a huge dropoff to the next couple guys in my next tier. But still a kick in the balls. Edit: Now let's see if my #1 name for my next pick gets down to 14
It will be easier later on in this draft to have conversations about the class. But some very interesting WR, S, Edge, DT, maybe even CB groups this year. In that I think people's boards vary wildly, top 5 or top 10, whatever. There's names all over the place. I feel like with the evolution of the game, the prototypes for positions are starting to vary. We're getting more "tweeners" that jumble rankings a bit. Teams want different things/traits. It's a very interesting class this year, imo. And obviously drafting for team A's preferences instead of team B's will create some differences. Again I could probably be more detailed about my point 2-3 rounds from now. Tough to explain fully at the minute.
Fair, point is he's a battler. That's a safety taking on two guys like a linemen. I like the intensity, and in that division, he'll need it. Edit: solid ball skills too.
The New Orleans and Tennessee boards aren't much better. I already decided to shift to Plan B for the next Tennessee pick, and there's only one name left on the New Orleans list - and I haven't figured out what Plan B would be for that one.
