Another band that made it bigger with a replacement lead singer. Most prog fans would say they were not better, but definitely bigger.

Journey is another one. The original Journey lineup came out of the Santana band, and Gregg Rolie handled the vocals. Steve Perry came along later.

 

Trade: TEN flips picks with NYG.
NYG gets 68. TEN gets 128. TEN gets Saquon Barkley.

Firstly I have my own RB trade.

Eagles Trade: Pick 94
Chargers Trade: Pick 125 + Austin Ekeler.

 

The white dude on the drums was definitely one of the Journey members can’t tell you the rest.

 

As for the pick I was looking to trade back but if not I have a pick ready in a couple minutes. Just gotta get a photo ready.

 

Santana never played "Soul Sacrifice" quite like that ever again. Carlos' fingers were bleeding when he left the stage.

The story is that promoter Bill Graham got Santana onto the band list for Woodstock as an extra act. Various technical issues forced a bit of a rearrangement, and it came down to a situation where if the band didn't go on right then, they were likely to not get a chance to play at all later. And Carlos had just taken mescaline about five minutes earlier.

So he's tripping out of his mind, feeling no pain, and THAT performance of "Soul Sacrifice" was the result.

I was considering taking him if he was there at pick 30. It's why I never traded for Ekeler yet. We had a deal in principle for Ekeler for a while if he didn't get a better offer by the time I was up and either Bijan was gone or I passed on him. Didn't happen last night as he was in bed by the time he was taken.

 

I'll go ahead and make this official, though it would be kinda fun to force the Chimp to make an appearance to confirm it himself.

Still need @xinik to confirm our own trade for Barkley.

I would have probably passed on Bijan anyways. I didn't expect another player to make it this far, although still preferred to trade back, especially after the Ekeler trade.

Would have been interesting if you took him. Maybe I take Bijan if he's still around; or maybe someone would have been itching to trade up for him.
