Tyler Eifert 2.0, all the spacial awareness with less of the immediate injury concerns. Expected to fill Drew Samples former role in the two TE set and ability to be the check down option against blitz packages to alleviate pressure from Burrow. He has the potential to be a main Burrow target by mid-year and into year 2.

This was SEA's consideration that I couldn't convince myself of doing...

  3. Joe McDonnell Special Teams Patriots

Him and Walker definitely would have been dangerous

The Packers and Jets have a trade in place -

    NYJ receives: Aaron Rodgers
    GB receives: 2.11 and a 2024 second

    Conditions:

AFC Championship appearance, in which case the Packers would receive the Jets 2024 first.

Aaron retires, in which case the Jets would receive the Packers 2024 4th (includes if they make an AFC Championship).

I really think Bijan is going to go a lot higher than projected at most places. This being considered a weak draft, he’s just too good of a player to fall too far. I think I’m my final mock, I’m going to slot him in to the Falcons.

Part of it was the teams in front of me, and what kind of luck/coincidence it would take to get some OL help that I preferred. On the trade chart - It's a touch of an overpay, but not so much to cause me to lose sleep over it.

As for the steep price, it's one that feel more palatable when you realize you have to protect a quarterback investment that includes a future high end asset, and the fact that he is something like 140 years old in passer years.

Johnson is my preferred tackle, so it was a price that I was willing to pay.

I keep bouncing him up and down the list in different scenarios. I don't think I've had him as high as ATL, but I've put him down with PHI and TEN for a quick minute.

It feels like a comfortable over/under may start around the Chargers pick at #21.

@LAOJoe , you can text me when SEA comes up. I'm gonna be on the road for most of the day so I'll try to check in when I can.

Don't burn the place down, gentlemen.

Honestly that was my motivation. In this class I think this player is long gone. I do have a BPA first, need second general approach to my drafting. (I like to use the old George Young method of grouping players into "tiers" and selecting from the pool of players in the highest tier available). Robinson was in a tier of his own at this point so despite having much more immediate needs I had to take him. Plus I don't mind a top level back in the late first early second, and after Barkley didn't sign the deal he was offered and now is being forced to play on the tag... I really do think this may be his final season in NY.

NICE!! I coached travel softball for 12 years. This is my second year away from it and I am getting the itch.

It's a scenario I have considered in my own head. It makes sense to me because he is pure BPA at that point but I really don't think it happens I have a decent sense of a few guys I think are realistic targets and I certainly don't think RB is one of them lol.

I definitely spent 30 seconds considering Will Anderson for the Colts. But, I decided to play it as realistic as possible. Now I can head off the rails with my own preferences

They need DTs really badly, don’t they?
I handled them elsewhere and when I checked the depth chart I was just like Gross! Back then Prince Emili was the only signed player. They’ve at least put some placeholders there since. Malcolm Roach has played some decent ball for them.

Soccer is travel for me for the past 6 years, softball for the past 2 seasons but rec with an element of travel. (Travel softball has too many time restraints for her to play 2 sports)

They lost their best DT in free agency to some clowns in north Georgia., so it's definitely a top area of need. In particular, a plugger who can play 1-tech in a 4-man front or nose in a 3-man would be ideal given the uncertainty of the system going forward (those same clowns in Georgia also stole the defensive line coach).

And we started to have a bit of a run on DTs, so now was the time to grab him.

I kinda had him in mind for TEN after the trade down. Didn't think Levis would last even to 11, never mind 16 so I took Levis instead.
