Robinson to Philly @10 makes too much sense to me. I know people cite Roseman's approach to RBs but Bijan is at a different level.

Well well well Belichick is shopping Mac “Suck” Jones. Kid had BUST written all over him. Knew it, called it .Nailed it. Draft day trade Patriots send Jones to the Ravens :) for an unconditional 6th rounder and a bowl of fruit loops.

A lot of chatter on Round 7 QB. We had that #3 guy a year ago. We lost Dwayne Haskins on 4/9/22 a young man who had high hopes and ability. His blood alcohol level was elevated at the time of his death. May others learn from his tragedy. May we as fans remember him in a positive light .

Devon Witherspoon just ran a 4.42/4.46 doubt he makes it to 17 now.

why are the Steelers bringing in Torrence with a gazillion guards on the roster? Well
My guess that like Joe Haden if you like a player then later on 5/7 yeats later you get your guy. #3 CB could be Banks as Porter is sliding. I still say best value is OT, TE, CB, DL, LB the way my board looks in that order as the first 5 picks.

Pastry Meats shopping Suck Jones. Colts are possible landing spot for No Action Jackson. Top Mockers (ESPN excluded) are now putting Baltimore in the QB race.

I agree with Beach Robinson to the Eagles @
    10. Their next pick will be Torrence to replace Semulato. Bungholes need OL help maybe Dewand Jones @ 28. Many mocks have them taking TE I say nope. The TE’s end of round two are future starters whereas the OT’s the end of rd. 2 are swing guys.

Im sold on JMS he’s a plug and play C but Cole played well enough to wait a year. I’ll buy a NT but Ika not Mazi. Ika shows the ability to Penetrate and disrupt the pocket. Again Brodric Martin remains my 7th rounder.

Steelers are going to move around they gotta get back in the 5th. Not sure who falls but these guys could be available on day 3
DL: . Karl Brooks, Zacch Pickens, Byron Young, Kobie Turner. LB: Dorian Williams, Nick Herbig, Ivan Pace. TE: Luke Schoomaker. Payne Durham WR: Charlie Jones, Ronnie Bell. Someone will fall any of these players can help improve depth.

Again colts are the trading partner for Jackson . Would love to see them move up to #4 and then another team makes a trade with the Cardinals swoops in & takes their QB.

Cleveland they at starving for top
    picks , Watson deal is handicapping them they don’t even pick until middle 3rd round. However the Rams actually have a lot of picks: 36, 69,77, 167, 171, 177, 182, 189, 191, 223, 251. Steelers coukd trade 32 for 36 and pick up 167 & 177.

  7. Willie Head Coach Manager News & Notes Vikings

    Hi Steelers fans.

Im not a genius in any life category, but i do believe the Steelers need to get real serious about making things better for Kenny Picket. OL all the way. Taking anything other than an OL is to me a big mistake. RB's, WR's, TE's, CB's are a dime a dozen this year. Go protection for Picket, solidify the run game and you wiil be a force.

Paris Johnson, Peter Skoronski, Broderick Jones... you cant miss. Jones started all day long at LT and protecting the blind side is tops.

One thing to me is this... There is a very comparable position the Steelers and Vikings share... so many holes to fill, positions to upgrade, but the Steelers have a young, up and coming, still learning QB that needs protection, unlike the situation in Minesota. Steelers have a higher draft pick and better use it wisely... if they do they wont need to worry about trading up or down. If the Steelers go OL in the first round, I think its a smart move.

Just an opinion from a fan passing by, hope it makes cense.

    2023 NFL Trade Value Chart

Draft value trade chart. There is a box you can pick any team and it will highlight their picks. This helped me find the Rams who have a lot of picks in the 5th & 6th.

and unless Balt moves Jackson they have shit for draft capital, 1025, less than half what Pittsburgh has, 2196. Bungholes have 1166.4 and Cleveland 531.8, lowest of all 32 teams.

CBS latest mock it’s a shit show. By 17 all 3 top cb’s and OT’s are gone. Steelers trade with Seattle slide back to 20 and pick up 83? One player missed though was Darnell Wright. Banks slid out of round 1 as did Cam Smith. Van Ness at 20 I’m not sold.

NFL Mock Draft 2023: Anthony Richardson falls outside top 10, ends up with AFC team; Packers, Patriots take WR

Here is that mock I mentioned. How do you value Josh Downs over Darnell Wright or Darnell Washington. Also if Levis and Richardson slide, then how the he11 does Hendon Hooker go at 23. And why are the Seahawks jumping, over which teams and why. I wish these mocks would be more clear as to the exact trade and the reasoning or logic. Is Detroit interested in Levis or is it Tampa Bay. Are the Steelers sold on Van Ness but not on Brian Branch or Darnell Wright. The odd thing about this mock is that too many WR go early and this leaves a lot of OL and CB talent there for the taking at 32. top Edge Rushers and WR are decimated in this mock.

I’d rather select the TE from Georgia than an oline man. He is a great blocker and is a coverage nightmare for defenders.
    CB Porter
    TE Washington
DT or edge for the next two picks
Our defense needs more help than the offense. We did a great job of beefing the oline in FA.

No chance Richardson and Levis get out of the Top Ten. Hooker could go top 15.

Not having a fifth rd pick is fine. The last quality pick in the rd for the Steelers was Hardy Nickerson. The only other pick in the rd was Webster. Why trade back to obtain a pick that will suck anyway?

when Sanders left it left a big hole in the Eagles run game, sure they picked up Penny for 1 year and have Gainwell but if you could get Robinson, they would be dangerous for years to come.

I doubt a team takes Hooker that high. I can see some team trading back into the first just to get the extra year.

I agree 100%, not sure if they can wait till 30 to grab him and risk a team trading into the first to get him.

Obviously just an opinion but I think the top 4 guys go early leaving Tennessee and Washington without a QB. They may pass on Hooker but I don't think they should. Can't wait for the draft.

I think with the draft capital, and their roster, The Eagles are the team that trades out of the first and a team moves up for Hooker. #30 would be where I would put that in my mock.

Beach, I hope it is Washington who takes Hooker, they pick right before us and that pushes a player back. Tenesee does go QB in the mock I just read from PFF. This mock has the Steelers taking Broderick Jones at 17 but they pass on Christian Gonzalez who goes 18th. Unusual that Anton Harrison goes before Jones, I just don't see that. The way this mock falls, CB, OL and QB are the players getting snapped up early. What's left for Pittsburgh at 32 if this falls like predicted (see mock below); Available: Darnell Washington TE Georgia, Will McDonald IV OLB, Drew Sanders LB, O'Cyrus Torrence OG, Zay Flowers WR, Cam Smith CB, Julius Brents CB. According to my board I take Darnell Washington, highest rated player left. Steelers may go with Gonzalez if this falls like this but it's hard to imagine he is there at 17. I think this mock undervalues Edge Rushers after Will Anderson at #4. (19. Van Ness, 22. Smith, 24.Wilson,29. Murphy) I consider Breese a DT. If they take Gonzalez, my next highest rated OT not taken is Cody Mauch, a swiss army knife who can play all 5 spots on the OL. Not a fan of Dewand Jones, he's RT only. Darnell Wright was taken 23rd, he is a dominant player who gave Will Anderson fits and did not give up a sack in 2022. Wright did play one season at LT.

I disagree because of the gap between 120 and 234 It's not just a 5th rounder, they also have no 6th rounders. They traded away the 6th for Malik Reed and the 5th for Ahkelo WItherspoon. The Reed pick was also got us pick 241 which was swapping a 6th for a 7th.
