Ive seen, Musgrave, Mayer and Kinkaid as possible 1st rounders, which has change since this whole thing started a couple months ago. Washington being a 2nd rounder in some mocks. The strange/funny thing to me is how when this all heated up there were 2 TE's being talked about... now there are several, its confusing to this simpleton.

I think Kuntz is the one most likely to jump up boards, whereas Kraft might be the one that has to wait on his name being called.

@StlCrtn posted up a mock with 3 in it, and normally I would consider that a pretty large outlier. However, like you mentioned, the combination of a class that may be a touch on the weakside and the tight end group having some quality top end talent may make this more of a realistic outlook.

Right now, I only have one TE going in the first, but I have been floating another one in and out of the bottom of the round.

This feels like a draft where there should be more than a couple surprises throughout the first round.

TE always fascinates me for the draft because it seems like every year there are just a few guys who stand above the pack, and then a HUGE pack who could all be justified going anywhere from late day two to UDFA based on scheme fit.

And my general thought, taking a game theory approach to it (I'll try to skip the math), is that means you really shouldn't go out of your way to take any of them unless / until there's only one or two remaining with the specific profile that you seek.

Made me wonder where Travis Kelce was drafted. Low and behold, he was a 3rd rounder by the Chiefs in 2013. I guess you just never really know. TE's are an underrated position and I really cant figure out why. You got your run-blocking types which are an important asset on the O-line and then you got your dynamic types throughout history that can catch the ball like nobodies business and rack up points like a WR. I just wonder why they dont seem to get the hype like other positions.

Any thoughts, or am I exaggerating?

Well a lot of us were on the CBS boards in 2007 then they just got rid of us  Out of the blue. The Mel KIPER sucks thread was officially started in 2009 on CBS then Steelroc started a new one in 2013 which now has over 1.125M views

I remember just 2 seasons of baseball with Tims friend (JS) when they pulled the plug, but not back since that... to correct myself.

CBS had one guy who ran various programs to groom potential staff writers. I don't remember his name, but he used a pic of Hunter S. Thompson as his avatar.

That was how I ended up being their "official" team blogger representing the Falcons. No perks or anything, but it was fun. Later I actually did have a chance to cover the team on the road for them as a paid gig. That was tempting, but my job made it impossible to take it on.

Unfortunately at the end they were getting hit by so much spam that their forums were unusable. The team forums would be flooded with three or four pages of spam posts a day telling you to go to dicey web sites to stream games. They couldn't figure out how to fix it or even slow the spam down. At that point shutting down the forums was inevitable. Sucked that they shut down everything else though. Would have been nice to have had some advance warning so that I could have retrieved some of my blog posts. Every now and then I run across one that got reposted somewhere else, but nearly all of them are now lost in the grave of CBS' defunct server.

Im glad they shut down or Id have never met Tim, lol... This site is head and shoulders above cBS and I mean that. We have a good thing here and Im grateful.

In todays world we have access to so many things via internet, sports sites and what not, but coming here and gathering to express our opinions rocks.

Not a lot of real cool places to go and hang out and share opinions, but here we have that... kinda magical.

Definitely a cool thing here. Kind of like our own neighborhood bar to shoot the bull about sports.

Of all the things I remember clearly was that PMs were in forum and you could tell when people were talking in private because the count was low. Sometimes entire pages were blank because of that. Usually it was in mock drafts. I also fucked with people when I was on the clock by PMing myself so they thought I had trade action and would want to shoot an offer lol.

Other thing I remember was owning like 20 picks in a row in the 6t or 7th round in one draft. 1 guy wouldn't trade me the pick separating a bunch of them even when I gave him an offer he couldn't refuse just so I wouldn't have them all together.

  15. Hi all!!! I just recently joined this forum, and I'd like to share my thoughts on the Rocky Class of 2023. I've been interested in sports for a long time, and soccer is a passion of mine. I have followed many young players who are making their way through college soccer, and I am confident that the Rocky Class of 2023 will be very interesting. The first thing that catches my eye is the sheer number of talented quarterbacks. I think many of them could be future NFL stars. Of course, it's too early to make any predictions, but I've already started to make a list of players to look out for. Also, I'm impressed with the wide range of positions that have promising players at them. I think this could lead to teams taking more chances in the draft and picking players who aren't necessarily quarterbacks. Of course, a lot can still happen before the 2023 draft, and some players may come out of the game. But I think the 2023 Rocky Class promises to be very interesting, and I'm looking forward to the draft to see who makes the teams and starts their professional careers.
