The good of signing Peterson is it already allows us to go BPA. Unless Highsmith isn’t resigned.

 

Highsmith is already under contract for 2023. Hopefully they can work on an extension and get him signed long term.

 

Only way this happens is If he loves the Steelers because if he waits he's going to get paid

I still want to draft a good CB. We need our defense to be great so we can open up the window.

 

DL, ILB , edge and CB. We don’t need anything on offense with the first four picks. If our defense is dominating our offense will be able to score points.

He’s a pretty damn good instinctual LB. He makes plays at the line, not 4-6 yards past the LOS. Him and Jack will mesh very well together.

 

Let's see they addressed ILB, OL, DL, CB in free agency. Now here is my thing, been working on mocks and this is my 17th draft of studying players and etc..
I had mild interest in Darnell Washington pre-combine. To be honest not much tape on him because of Brock Bowers being TE1. Pat Freirmuth is a great TE but his blocking is not on the level of Heath or even Vance McDonald. I am working on a mock, where Kahn, , Tomlin, Weidl trade up or back to get this young man, For us older guys, who remembers when The Steelers had Eric Greene and Adrian Cooper. My dream mock is to have 2 Bulldogs on this team, I am passing on the troubled Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith is set on being an edge rusher. Somehow someway I want Broderick Jones and Darnell Washington on this team. Jones is ranked 20th and Washington is ranked 33, but I feel they will have to trade 49 and slide back to get both.

Mike Tomlin and Omar Kahn are going to Georgia's pro day. Hope they pass on RIngo unless he really slides.

Sorry Disagree man, need another playmaker for Pickett. I hope they look at TE at 32. Depends on how the draft unfolds and I hope all 4 QB are gone by 17, that means one of the Big 7 are there. (3 top CB, 3 top OT, and VanNess/Breese whoever you have higher).

 

He fits what they need not sure why fans hate the kid. He has gotten better each year. It is not his fault the Steelers reached for him in round 1.

 

Another point to be taken. Peterson can mentor whoever they draft at CB, that is something the coaches really cannot do on a player level.

 

If Carter falls to 17 do you guys think the Steelers would take him do to the off field issues, not staying in shape for his pro day, he might have some growing up to do, or does his talent out weigh any off field issues?
