Not sure how she lived with the smell for so long. After a day or two I’d be tearing apart walls to see if something (or in this case……someone) had died somewhere. And the concealed storage was in her own bedroom closet!!! How did she even sleep with that stench?

It says, she reported it twice and the house was searched twice... The room must have had some insulation properties that dulled the smell significantly.

Drunken man kicks bison at Yellowstone; he ends up injured, arrested

WEST YELLOWSTONE, Montana — Authorities say an Idaho man is facing multiple charges after he drunkenly harassed a herd of bison at Yellowstone National Park, eventually kicking one in the leg and leading to him being injured by one of them.

Clarence Yoder, 40, of Idaho Falls, is charged with being under the influence of alcohol to a degree that may endanger oneself, disorderly conduct as to create or maintain a hazardous condition, approaching wildlife, and disturbing wildlife, according to a news release from National Park Service.

The incident occurred on April 21 on the park’s West Entrance Road near the Seven Mile Bridge. Rangers were called to the area when they were told a person was harassing a bison herd and had kicked one of the animals, which can be about 6½ feet high at the hump and weigh about 2,400 pounds.

Yoder reportedly was found in a vehicle in West Yellowstone. He had suffered minor injuries from his encounter with a bison, authorities say. He was taken to a medical center for treatment, then taken to the Gallatin County Detention Center.

The driver of the vehicle in which Yoder was traveling also was arrested. McKenna Bass, 37, of Idaho Falls, is charged with driving under the influence, interference for failure to yield to emergency-light activation, and disturbing wildlife.

Both Yoder and Bass pleaded not guilty to the charges on April 22. If found guilty, they can be sentenced to up to six months in jail and fined up to $5,000 on each charge.

The Park Service says this is the first reported incident in 2024 of a person being injured by a bison. There was one incident in 2023 and three in 2022.

Rangers advise visitors to stay more than 25 yards away from Yellowstone’s large animals, such as bison, elk, bighorn sheep, deer, moose and coyotes, and at least 100 yards away from bears and wolves.
