I only see one team with the capital to trade with and at 49 maybe the Seahawks want Tanner McKee and need to jump Detroit? We move back 3 doors and regain pick 153 which we traded to them for the LB that didn’t pan out. At 32 really not sure someone would have to offer Steelers a big package and it depends on how their board is. It’s more likely they trade back at 49 or 80 if they can or think their guy will still be there. Seattle @49, I’m working on 80 and both Seattle and Tampa Bay have capital to jump
Up over Detroit to get Henden Hooker. Trading 80 with TB they have 81,174,180 . Seattle has 82,151,153.

 

I can see a trade down later in the 2nd or third rounds depending on who falls to us to pick up picks in the 5th and 6th. I hate that we have that big of a gap in between picks.

I watched the USC and UCLA highlights and he is a up and down player, had 2 sacks in a losing effort against USC this ear, uses hands to swat and swim by tackles well, but that’s about it. He does win with that move. Needs to develop more of a arsenal. Gets caught watching the play sometimes. One thing I don’t like is he doesn’t hold the edge at all and will bite on the option all the time. Does play standing up and with his hand in the dirt. Definitely a project player UDFA.

So my board gives me Jordan Battle S John Michael-Schmitz C , Derek Hall OLB, Will McDonald IV OLB, Jalen Duncan OT. The best safety (S-1) still available and like wise with best center OC-1. Duncan is OT-5 . Best DT’s I have are Gervin Dexter and Zach Harrison.

what about going Sewel at 32? We could go best Safety, What is your take on Jason Taylor II? I wouldn’t mind taking him in 3 or 4. Maybe the best OG or C. What about Benton with 49?

 

Where do you have PJ Mustipher DL Penn St. ranked?? It’s only day 1 but having a real good shine practice so far.

 

William & Mary OL Colby Sorsdal has had a really good first 2 days so far at the Shrine Bowl. Might want to keep an eye for this guy, he might be on Tomlin’s radar due to the same ties to W&M.

also DL Texas Keondre Coburn has produced a really good 2 days, reports are he’s a space eater and a fire hydrant in the middle(can’t be moved) eating up 2-3 blockers at a time. Also has some pass rushing ability.

 

He’s a late round possibility. Every credible site Steeler based has them targeting Keanu Benton DT Wisconsin in their mock. I also think Devin Witherspoon is my CB-1 at least from all my notes.

They will be cutting WJ3, and Weatherspoon, resign Sutton. Need a starter opposite Wallace.

I’m hearing there’s a possibility that they cut Jack. If that happens though we are definitely losing Bush and possibly Spillane, so that would leave them with just Robinson at ILB.

would love to keep Larry O. Don’t care if Wormley goes, he only shows up against the Ravens, if he would play the way he plays against the Ravens every week the guy would be a all pro. We need to add a piece here.

Why? Not a fan of Breese id wait for Benton, even. At 32. Emmanuel Forbes is way better at 49 and at 17 even if it’s OT-4 FIX THE TRENCHES . At 80 Karl Brooks if they miss on DT early on . It all depends on the run on CB . Firstb3 picks gotta be OT, DT, CB in any order.
