Steelers picking 17,32,50. Get 3 blue chippers . Roc problem with #41 & #93 is they are a liability in pass coverage.

 

But 93 is good for games against heavy running teams like the ravens and browns.

 

Keep an eye on Karl Brooks ( Bowling Green) and Gervin Dexter (Fla) for DL depth. A question : is Mazi Smith a 2 down player? I think he fits better than Siaki Ika. Also Ika’s weight concerns me as it’s going in the wrong direction and he doesn’t play a lot of snaps.

 

Really not liking the WR class in general. Past the top 30 on most big boards there isn’t much to
Pick from after the middle of round 2. CB on the other hand this is loaded with secondary help.

 

we could just bring back what we had, we’re getting a healthy CA3 next year hopefully, sims, Boykin, and Anthony Miller. Probably get all of them on the cheap, and I forgot about gunner. I don’t think we need a WR this year. We need a better CB opposite Wallace. Sign Sutton as the slot.

 

definitely need a 3 down hole plugger for the middle, Adams is a backup, need a high pedigree starter here.

As much as I think Jack Campbell will be a safe pick he’s not explosive I think early LB picks need to be heat seeking missles

would actually like this move, I don’t like what they’ve been doing lately with picks in those rounds and not really getting any return on investment from trades. The trade with Denver was a bust. The Jackson trade is still up in the air, if they just let him leave then bust, if they restructure his contract into a cap friendly deal and he produces, then it’s a win.

I still think we need depth at OLB behind TJ and Highsmith. Any thoughts on potential sleepers??

 

They owe nothing to the Commanders. The trade was conditional that he play. No word on if the Commanders still owe them the 7th. Unlikely, but possible as it took some salary off the books for the Commanders.

 

Derek Hall 6-3 256 Auburn. he can get to the QB. Rated mid second he won’t last until pick 49. Not a sleeper but I think he’s a good pick with over 1900 snaps in the SEC he’ll
Play almost right away to give our OLB a breather.

 

Might be a replacement pick as Highsmith is going to be expensive. Do you think his contract gets redone in the off-season? Or do they let it run out and try to resign him once he hits the free agent market?

 

Well 14.5 sacks is hard to replace. Depends on his price. This is why I’m targeting Hall &
Tuipuloto they are producing sacks. Both have high motors and lots of experience in Power 5 Conferences Id love to see Kahn trade back and get them both somehow. I always look at snap count , 1599 for Tuipolotu and 1959 for Hall. See everyone’s top DL is Jalen Carter but he’s under 1000 snaps and is not a 3 down player yet. If giving out a 5 year deal I want to know the player was on the field for all situations and can line up anywhere. Carter only a Jr. All world talent, one of his negatives is he relies on natural ability more than his dedication and work ethic. Ok if I’m sitting there and Carter and Murphy are available and my team runs a 3-4, I’m taking Murphy. I think he’s a harder worker and might be the better fit. He has an NFL body and it’s also a reason I like BRoderick Jones over O’Cyrus Torrence . That and because an OT over OG has way more value like a rook and a knight in chess.Carter also has an MCL that needs some looking into. Brian Bresee that ACL scares me at 17
