With the Chargers winning tonight and clinching a playoff spot there is only one WC spot left. According to my calculations the only way Steelers can make the playoffs: Week 17 1. Steelers win 2. NE beats Miami 3. Seattle beats NYJ Week 18 1. Steelers win 2. NYJ beats Miami 3. Buffalo beats NE There is no other way, if any of the above 6 doesn’t happen they’re out. Tenn & Jacksonville will cancel the other out for a WC spot since they play each other in Week 18 please advise if these findings are inaccurate
Bottom line is they have to be the only team with 9 wins of the teams still alive for that last spot. They lose every tie-breaker to Miami, NE, & NYJ
There is another way, in week 17 if NYJ beat Seattle they would still be mathematically alive but in Week 18 Miami & NYJ would have to tie.
We need buffalo to beat the Bengals so they have incentive to beat the patriots in week 18. Kansas City needs to win too to keep up the incentive.
That's according to the playoff machine. It's not as unlikely as it once seemed. Big test in Baltimore though.
One thing that was missed. At 32 seconds to go Sutton intercepted that pass on ( drum roll) the 32 yard line. File that under the things happen for a reason section.
Yeah, I meant against. And I'm in the finals against the highest scorer in the league. He had Hurts** all season so hopefully that helps me steal the championship. **I never wish or celebrate injuries
+652 odds that NE beats Miami, Seattle beats NYJ, & Steelers beat Balt Our beloveds did start the week as a 4 1/2 point underdog, dropped to 2 1/2 points.
I think Hundley is playing. They aren't good in the red zone with him so I hope that helps the Steelers.
Head coach John Harbaugh didn’t officially rule Jackson out when he spoke to reporters on Friday, but did say that it is a “fair assumption” that Tyler Huntley will be at quarterback against the Steelers on Sunday night.
Jackson ruled out. I hope Robinson gets a few plays on 1st and 2nd downs. Don’t want him in coverage often but coming downhill against the run is his specialty
Marcus Allen being out is a bit of an underrated aspect of the game. Starting and backup upbacks on the punt team are out, more than likely Warren filling in. Don’t tell me that former ST coach won’t notice that
We aren't very good outside the redzon3 with Huntley either. Not unless we use a run heavy approach. Problem is, when that starts working well, Greg Roman decides to pass the ball multiple times in a row to "outsmart" the defense
