Could also be a sign of weak compitition. Then Bengals are middle of the pack in interceptions and the Saints and colts are 32nd and 29th. The falcons are top 10 but their secondary has been a mess for about a month because of injuries
I have to give Pickett due credit for this game. All but one of the injured Falcons DBs are back. They were missing two key players in the pass rush, but the secondary was just about at full strength. The practice squad guy who started when they gave up 800 passing yards in two games wasn't on the field for this one. Pickett hasn't thrown an interception in over a month. His passer rating has been 85+ in each of the last three games, where it was below 80 in each of the previous three games. His completion percentage is down, though that might also be him doing a better job of getting rid of the ball when under pressure. He has taken only five sacks in the last three weeks, compared to fourteen sacks the previous three weeks, and his average yards gained per attempt has actually increased over the last three weeks. He's taking what he can get and protecting the ball. He hasn't suddenly become Joe Montana, but this is the kind of developmental progress you want to see.
2 game balls: minkah and Harvin. Even though liitle Heyward and our PK were stars. Those 2 made great plays/kicks with the game on the line
I’ll say it again: Mac “Suck” Jones . I’m taking our QB over the stiff NE drafted in 2021, but he’s better than the bust the Jets picked .
