Lions first-round pick Jameson Williams is set for his NFL debut.

Williams has spent the entire season on the non-football injury list after tearing his ACL during his final game at Alabama. Williams returned to practice ahead of Thanksgiving and the Lions announced that he has been added to the active roster on Saturday.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said early this week that it would be a tall order for Williams to get the green light to play against the Jaguars, but Saturday’s move suggests that Williams had a strong practice week.

The Lions also activated defensive lineman Romeo Okwara from the physically unable to perform list and placed his brother Julian on injured reserve. The linebacker has an elbow injury.

Offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher was promoted from the practice squad to complete the day’s moves.

It is a good 4 O'clock schedule, but i doubt this one 'gets lost in the shuffle'. In my opinion, they should have gone and flexed it to the 8 o'clock game in spite of the Cowboys who are playing Indianapolis. The 49ers and Dolphins is still a much better game than the Cowboys matchup which just goes to show its a money thing, not an importance thing... gotta get those ratings.

Hell, the Chiefs vs Bengals is even better than the Cowboys vs Colts.

Anyway, the schedule this time of the season is usually loaded with good games and meaningful games with the addition of the extra WC getting in.

Enjoy your football folks! Thats an order!!!

Joe Mixon hasn’t cleared concussion protocol yet

Bengals running back Joe Mixon was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report after missing last Sunday’s game with a concussion and it looks like it will be another week on the sideline.

According to multiple reports, Mixon has not cleared the concussion protocol yet. Unless that changes on Sunday morning, Mixon will be inactive against the Chiefs.

Samaje Perine started last week and ran 17 times for 58 yards and a touchdown. He also caught four passes for 35 yards.

While Mixon looks unlikely to play, the Bengals are expected to have wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase back from a hip injury. He has missed the last four games with a hip injury.

The Commanders may not have Chase Young against the Giants, but it appears they will have running back Antonio Gibson in the lineup.

According to multiple reports, Gibson will play on Sunday. He was listed as questionable on Friday due to a foot injury that caused him to miss practice on Thursday before returning for a limited practice to close out the week.

Gibson leads the Commanders with 130 carries for 476 yards this season. Brian Robinson is just behind him in both metrics and will likely pass him if he continues to play the leading role in the backfield this weekend.

Young was also listed as questionable, but word is that he’s unlikely to make his 2022 debut this weekend. Young has not played since tearing his ACL last November.

The cowboy game is going to suck. Too many good choices for the slot and they choose a half time off to bed game.

Raiders running back Josh Jacobs played through a calf injury against the Seahawks last Sunday and it looks like he will do the same this Sunday.

Jacobs was listed as questionable on Friday after three limited practices during the week and Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Jacobs will play against the Chargers.

The Raiders will be hoping that Jacobs picks up where he left off. Jacobs ended the win over Seattle with an 86-yard run in overtime and he picked up 303 yards of total offense over the course of the game.

Jacobs leads the league in rushing yards and that 86-yard run is the longest by any player in the league so far this season.

Bengals sure play the Chiefs well in Cincinnati. Its early though, but they look impressive so far.

The 49ers defense is carrying the team. Garropolo has been out the whole game basically and they have been leading the whole way.

Garrapolo is done for the season. Broken foot. I can’t see the 49ers making the SB now. That great defense will go to waste now.
