I think you are grasping at straws….

More important to have an outside game between these teams than what you are attempting to come up with. Very weak argument.

ACTUALLY, I think the Bills are getting a huge advantage going to the stadium they will be playing a second game in only 4 days later against the home team Lions.

Got an anemic running attack? Play the Browns.

Got a pissed off wide receiver? Play the Browns.

Can't stop a QB sneak? Play the Browns.

All right... I'll give my outsider (formerly-insider) view on it.

    Replaced with whom?

Watching some of the replay (low-lights), it's an effort and accountability issue. Not a stretch to say that the coaches have lost the team -- not just Joe Woods. What's worse -- it's totally understandable from the players' perspective, too... this is now the second lost season for guys in their prime looking to win. You could fire Woods tomorrow and the defense wouldn't improve enough to keep the season alive (currently sitting at 2.7% chance to make the playoffs, I believe). But who are you bringing in to replace Woods? Going to keep it in house, so someone under his tutelage gets to run the same Cover 2 that only seems to work against Joe Burrow? That doesn't really change the dynamic of players quitting. Outsource it to someone off the street? It could have a short-term shot to the team, perhaps, but who's taking this job knowing it's a lame duck season and you're poised to lose several starters via free agency and potentially the blue chip player on the team (Myles Garrett) via trade to try and salvage some salary cap for 2023 and potential draft picks?

Just like you'll have to weather to storm with Kevin Stefanski... the Browns made this mess, they have to sleep in it.

Just about anybody would do. How about a magic 8-ball?

All signs point to Joe Woods sucks.......

Oh, for sure... but is the issue that he's playing a bad scheme to the players' strength? I don't think so. He's got a very talented roster but several key players are significantly underperforming and, again, watching the tape... it looks like an effort issue. The defense has quit on him.

Firing him may help change that, sure. But then it gets to the next question -- who takes the position during a lame-duck season with the prospect of losing several key pieces in free agency and potentially more bluechip players via trade?

I'm as surprised as the rest of you.......they didn't lose. Now we're blowing a higher draft pick.

Yep and I think we tarnished his all-time record against the Browns. I think he's 17-2 now. How embarrassing for him.

Njoku's TD catch to tie the game was probably the best catch I've eer seen a tight end make.

I'm glad the last Browns game that @IrishDawg42 is going to watch was a win.

Now we can start the Watson era.

It seems everyone considers the Texans game a lock, but I'm not so sure. Any time a Browns starts smelling itself, and thinks they're going to roll over someone.................

I gotta think this is basically the Texans "Super Bowl", and they and maybe more aptly their fanbase will be out for blood. Watson snubbed them by them "I won't play for you" a couple years back, even before he became the most famous predator in the country.

If the Browns take this one anything less then seriously we could be in deep trouble. I know Watson is/was a top tier QB, but he hasn't played in nearly 2 years, hasn't taken a hit in nearly 2 years, and hasn't been on the field at game speed for 2 years. There will be rust, and maybe with a rabid Texan team, there may be guys out to take a shot at a rusty QB.
What are the odds Watson gets injured?

I just think this is a classic "BEWARE" game, with the chance to sink not just our season, but put Watson on the sidelines for the rest of the season.

Doom and gloom. I know, but even the national media considers this a laugher, and I think it might be a game we regret not taking seriously.
