We need some quick hitting pass plays. Something that forces Fields to get rid of it before he gets clobbered.

 

Im not sure what the adjusment is when your OL cant block anybody. Pretty sure there is none.

What i want to know is why Jenkins isnt playing. If he's healthy enough to suit up he's healthy enough to play. Schofield has been fucking terrible today.

 

Chase Claypool is still on this team?

 

One thing i would change. Monty has 13 carries thru nearly 3 Q's, with Herbert out injured that is really bad. Fields has more carries than Monty, that is ridiculous.

 

Quick hitting passes. Hard quick slants. Rollouts, bootlegs. There are plenty of things.

This is why I'm sick of Getsy.

Don't disagree, but everytime they have a behind the QB angle no one seems to winning quick.

 

That is incredible composure from Fields, to hang in the pocket that long and not take off. That might be my 2nd fav play of the game.

Fields dancing around getting out of sacks while keeping his eyes downfield and good pass protection are not the same thing.

 

The pass protection has been good on this drive and you know it. Fields has gotten out of some sacks after the protection broke down.

 

Defense is gonna have to take risks to get off the field here.

 

More bad tackling

 

Big missed tackle in the backfield by Sanborn. 4th & 2 they go for it, 4th & 5 they don't.

 

Good strategy for the Falcons here. They started this drive with over 8 minutes left. Decided they were gonna run it down our throats to milk out the clock and set up a game winning FG.

 

That should be countered tho. You have to stack the box play cover zero and if they hit a bomb then you at least get the ball back. Alan Williams is terrible.
