I love that the Steelers waited a month before starting their rookie QB.

The media takes it as gospel that if you draft a QB in the first round, you MUST start him right away. I don't know how that nonsense became "conventional wisdom", but it frequently does more harm than good to rush the prospect into action. Even if the kid is just about ready, give the rest of the team around him a little time to get it together before you throw the rookie into the fire.
