My biggest issue with Lance is every throw seems to come from a different motion with his body and arm. There’s no consistency in how he’s delivering the ball. Even watching film of him in practice…there’s just no continuity from throw to throw. It’s odd. But he can definitely sling the ball almost effortlessly.

Fields has an issue with holding the ball far too long. He has sped up his delivery a bit this season it seems. The windup to throw is a bit shorter, still not a fast release though. He’s gotta speed his clock up and get the ball out faster or the sacks are really gonna pile up. He wants the homerun every play. That mindset has to change.

Tons of potential in both kids though.

The start by the Colts, Bengals and Texans is kinda surprising in my random opinion. Cards look flat too... throw Russell Wilson in the mix also.

    Its early, but unusual.

Tennessee Titans are 0-2 and have scored just 27 points through 2 games... I wonder who is to blame? Tannehill, Vrabel? Might be a real hot-seat if they go down again this weekend.

...and the Raiders are 0-2... they play in Tennessee. Something has got to give.

They've been doing that for years!!

If you subscribe to ESPN+ streaming though, it includes the online subscription. I cut the cord a long time ago and had subscribed to ESPN+ for a few years. I just stopped the service a few months back so that I can get my Hulu/ESPN+/Disney+ package discount next month when my yearly Disney+ runs out. It saves you about $10/mo.. or basically ESPN+ for free. If you stream your TV, look into it.

Good info. I stream everything and have 2 TV's with just a standard antenna and a analog to digital converter box. I cut the cable about 5 years ago and dont miss it.

I pay for internet and stream all movies, shows any sports 24/7/365 for free... its the cats ass. Big learning curve to it, but all you need is a good A/V protection, adblock and your good to go once you find the right servers.

PS - dont tell anybody, mums the word.

Tua might be done for life. That's my opinion.

And the NFL is getting sued for last week.

That move was terrible for literally everyone involved in it. Never understood why he wanted to hitch his last shot at a HC job to Carr in a division where he’d have to get through Mahomes and Herbert. The Raiders would’ve been better off sticking with Bisaccia and McDaniels and the Pats would’ve been better off if he’d stayed in NE.

They should and the team should. And the coaching staff and trainers should be punished in some shape or form.

    Absolutely disgusting and horrifying.

And then you have the HC after the game telling the media that at least it's just a concussion and not something more serious.

John Harbaugh: “I couldn’t believe what I saw” with Tua Tagovailoa injury

Like many people in football, Ravens coach John Harbaugh was stunned watching Tua Tagovailoa suffer a brain injury on the field.

Harbaugh said today that he was shocked not only by Tagovailoa’s injury on Thursday night against the Bengals, which saw him stretchered off the field, but also by the injury Tagovailoa suffered on Sunday against the Bills, when he staggered to the ground with what was announced as a back injury but many observers thought looked like a sign of a concussion.

“I couldn’t believe what I saw last night,” Harbaugh said. “I couldn’t believe what I saw last Sunday. It was just something that was astonishing to see. I’ve been coaching for 40 years now, college in the NFL, almost 40, and I’ve never seen anything like it before. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”

Harbaugh said he is on the same page with the Ravens’ medical staff and ownership, all of whom are in agreement that if there’s any question about whether a player is ready to play, the answer is to hold them out. There’s now an investigation into whether the Dolphins failed to answer that question correctly with Tagovailoa.

JC Tretter: We need to figure out how, why a player with “no-go” symptom was allowed on the field

NFL Players Association president JC Tretter has issued a statement regarding Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and the ongoing investigation into how Tagovailoa was allowed to return to play in the Week Three matchup against Buffalo.

In the statement, Tretter calls for potential changes to the current concussion protocol.

“We are all outraged by what we have seen the last several days and scared for the safety of one of our brothers,” Tretter writes. “What everyone saw both Sunday and last night were “no-go” symptoms within our concussion protocols. The protocols exist to protect the player and that is why we initiated an investigation.

“Our job as the NFLPA is to take every possible measure to get the facts and hold those responsible accountable. We need to figure out how and why the decisions were made last Sunday to allow a player with a “no-go” symptom back on the field.

“Until we have an objective and validated method of diagnosing brain injury, we have to do everything possible, including amending the protocols, to further reduce the potential of human error. A failure in medical judgment is a failure of the protocols when it comes to the well being of our players.

“We have come a long way over the past 15 years but the last week proves how far we have left to go.”

NFL chief medical officer Allen Sills said in an interview with NFL Network on Friday that the investigation into Tagovailoa’s return to play is ongoing and that the league will publicly release all findings.

I put the baby down, clicked through to the game on my phone, saw Tua lying on the ground with his fingers contorted above his head, and just turned it off. I didn't see anything else, and I didn't want to. That alone was awful.

Dr. Allen Sills vows to release results of Tua Tagovailoa investigation “to everyone”

As the NFL and NFL Players Association investigate the circumstances resulting in Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa‘s return to play on Sunday against the Bills, the NFL’s Chief Medical Officer has made an important commitment.

In an interview with NFL Media’s Judy Battista, Dr. Allen Sills promised full transparency with the outcome of the investigation, which the NFLPA requested.

“As soon as we finish that review, we’ll release the results of that to everyone,” Dr. Sills said. “We want to be as transparent and open about this as possible. We certainly want to learn, to improve, to get better. And we want to be the best in the world at diagnosing and managing these injuries. And so if we find that we fell short, or if we find that there are things that we need to change, we will certainly be up front about doing that. We’ve done that before, and we will certainly do that again, if that’s what’s indicated.”

Sills said that there will be “very serious consequences” if the concussion protocol was not followed. It’s also possible, as we’ve previously explained, that the protocol was followed but that it needs to be changed to, in this case, prevent players from returning to play after they exhibit gross motor instability.

The problem in this case is that the team physician and the Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultant found that Tua’s gross motor instability did not have a neurological cause. Few seem to believe that based, on the video. Sills never focused on that critical issue in the nearly nine-minute interview.

We’ve asked the league this specific question three times since Tua returned to play on Sunday: How did the team physician and the UNC conclude that Tua’s “gross motor instability” was not neurologically caused? The first two times we asked that question, there was no response. Today, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy declined to answer “as it part of the review which is ongoing.”

That’s fine, but if there’s going to be any transparency as to the outcome of the review, that’s the most important question. And if it’s determined that the team physician and the Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultant properly (somehow) ruled out a neurological cause of the wobbliness that all witnessed, the next question is whether that loophole will be closed, making any gross motor instability an automatic “no go.”

If the Dolphins and the outside Dr are guilty of lying about Tua's injury in the bills game there needs to be serious punishment given out.

For the independent Dr you give him a 1 year ban from working with the NFL plus huge fine.

Team Dr should be fired and baned 1 year as well.

For the Dolphins they forfeit all draft pick in 2023 plus a first in 2024. It would send a very clear message to other teams to not screw up when it concerns certain injuries. They also would not be able to trade players to replace/gain forfeited draft picks.

Yeah I know doubtful they would go that extreme but as I said it sends a very clear msg.

I said certain injuries above because even if he did not have a concussion in the Bills game an injury to the back or neck causing wobble walking is serious enough to warrant a player not going back in a game as well or at least not that quick

The independent evaluation by a dr. Not associated with the team wouldn’t let a player pass the concussion protocol if the player didn’t really pass. So this is a case that was a different injury. Someone that stumbles that badly wouldn’t pass protocol if he had a concussion, so the rules need to be tweaked so players that have obviously stumbled in a manner that most often would be a concussion aren’t allowed back in the current game. But Tua still would have passed and played against the Bengals. How long can you hold out a player that passes protocol?
