Ravens pulled off the win against the Patriots. Let's review a few things - Lamar Jackson continues to play at an MVP level. 300+ all purpose yards and 5 TDs with 1 INT. He currently leads the NFL in total TDs and passing TDs. 10 passing TDs with 2 INTs on the season while playing against the Jets, Dolphins, and Patriots defenses isn't bad at all. - All apologies and praise to Greg Roman. He has been very good this season minus a few situational plays. We're going to need up to keep it up because the defense is terrible. - Daniel Faalale. This kid stepped into the LT position as our 4th string option, and he started off terrible. Absolutely terrible. But after a few drives, he played phenomenally. He was pretty good after that. In fact, he was very good. - The defense is just plain terrible. I've never season a Ravens defense play this poorly. Something will need to change and soon. This simply can't continue - Need more from Bateman going forward but I can't blame him too much for that fumble. - As great as Mark Andrews is, he drops more passes than people seem to notice. - Thankfully, the defense got some key turnovers. Could have been ugly otherwise. - Nice to see JK Dobbins out there. - Justice Hill ran hard and well. Hopefully he and Dobbins can continue to make strides to take some pressure off Lamar. - The Bills lost so the Ravens will have to contend with an angry Bills team. Can't wait.
Wait, Lamar also leads the league in PASSER rating as of now. The guy that some feel doesn't deserve whatever he's asking for. The guy called a RB by fans who would probably love him on their team. The guy who's passing is questioned by analyst every time they talk about him After 3 games, he leads the league in passer rating, passing TDs, and total TDs
He's just about to write his own check. Seriously... he and the entire team is good... and might be even better once the injured get healthy. Good luck.
Lamar Jackson records 14th career double-triple with 218 passing yards, 107 rushing yards Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is continuing to show that he’s a unique player in NFL history. Jackson had 218 passing yards and 107 rushing yards in the Ravens’ 37-26 win over the Patriots today. Those numbers are highly unusual for any other quarterback in NFL history, but par for the course for Jackson. Today was Jackson’s 14th career double-triple, which is when a player records triple-digit yardage in two different statistical categories. Jackson has now done that in two consecutive games and done it 11 times in the regular season and twice in the postseason. No one in NFL history has come close to Jackson’s record on double-triples. Michael Vick has the second-most double-triples in NFL history, with eight. And Vick played in 149 games in his career to record those eight double-triples. Jackson’s 14th double-triple came in his 64th career game. Other than Jackson and Vick, no one in NFL history has more than four double-triples. Through three Sundays of this NFL season, Jackson is a leading candidate for league MVP. He’s doing things no other quarterback can do. PFT
Yeah, I'm hoping the defense improves greatly when some pieces return from injury (Bowser, Ojabo) and some others that may be rusty get their legs under them (Peters, T.Jones). Also really praying we get off this injury path we've been on
If he makes it through the season unscathed, I agree with you 100%. He will eclipse the Watson contract easily.
So it's only been 3 weeks, but with 12 total TDs, Lamar Jackson has more TDs than 30 NFL teams. The Lions tie him at 12. The only team with more total TDs than Lamar Jackson is.......the Baltimore Ravens. If this keeps up, the Ravens are going to be kicking themselves for not signing him this past offseason. 200M guaranteed won't look bad when you have to guarantee 250
