Steelers @ Browns game thread

Trubisky screwed that drive up. Johnson was wide open.

 

Defense needs to step it up now and make some plays! Offense needs to keep opening running lanes and the pocket open keep throwing some deep!

Would’ve saved the time out, and if he would’ve hit DJ the next play then Boz gets a chance. We’ll see if the defense steps up in the 2nd.

 

Might have been the fist kick return in a while, looks like they forgot how to block for those lol

OL looks like a competent OL so far

 

The play calling tonight has been much better for Trubisky. Those mid-deep throws along the sideline on the move are his comfort zone - if he's going to hit deep, that's how he's going to do it. He's always had one or two games a year where "good Mitch" shows up (peruse old Bears board threads, of you're curious), usually against softer defenses. So tonight feels like it's checking all his boxes. I hope he keeps it up in the second half.

 

Perfect play call and there’s a f’n flag, most likely on the Steelers.

Run stopping is still an issue! I don’t know why Loudermilk is inactive. He’s a run stopper and woulda been good to have in this game.

Both ILB for the browns and a DT are out. If they can’t run up the gut here then I don’t know when they will be able to

 

If we can’t move the ball against them with one of their DE and both starting LB’s out, we got problems.
