It's the Cleveland Browns vs the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team names are on the Program . . . not the back of the jerseys.
Trubisky is listed higher on the QB index than Brissett. I want to know what the people who make these ratings are smoking?
Seems like a pointless argument: who's better between Tribs and Jake. It may be a matter of who F's up the least tomorrow night. Will anyone not wearing Black and Yellow or Orange and Brown give a damn. Well probably the Cinci and Balt fans. Misery loves company.
Trubisky shouldn’t have been signed by the Steelers. Pickett looked really good in the preseason. Didn’t like it when we picked him, but when I watched him in the preseason he looked impressive.
Across the world wide web, I saw many comments that the Browns wouldn't win 5 games without Watson. After 3 weeks, Cleveland is an onside kick recovery away from being 3-0, but sit at a strong 2-1 right now. Currently 1st in the North and will stay there even if Baltimore wins Sunday.
I think you might have blinders on... If you want Trubisky to CARRY the team, that's one thing, but last night his non-RB receivers averaged 12.44 ypc. The Browns non-RB receivers averaged 11.44 ypc. The media is PRAISING Brissett for his performance and you are saying what you always say... In the meantime: Najee Harris averaged 3.7 ypc on 15 carries Nick Chubb averaged 4.9 ypc on 23 carries It might be your line, moreso than QB. Not that I think Trubisky is the answer at QB, I don't... but I don't think the difference between a win and loss last night was on his shoulders. That's all... On another note; That defense really misses T.J.
I am elated by the win last night, but I'm not jumping on the 2-1, should be 3-0 power trip. The combined record of our first 3 opponents is: 2-5... Their points for is 134 to points against 164, -30 point differential The upcoming 3 opponents record is: 2-4... Their points for is 125 to points against 138, -13 point differential Better, but not mind blowing. Combined: 4-9, 259 pts for to 302 pts against, -43 point differential I will start to wonder what this team can be when they get to the next 6 opponents(Brissett will play all but the Texans): The combined record is 7-4-1, 280 pts for to 212 pts against.. +68 point differential Take out the Texans and that is 7-3, 251 pts for to 176 pts against. +75 point differential Obviously these numbers are not relative based on common opponents, but What we have seen thus far, vs what we will see in the next 3 opponents, vs what we will see in the second half of Brissets 2022 season are not the same caliber of teams. I have to take all of this with a grain of salt.
As is always said, you can only play the teams on your schedule. Being 2-1 or 3-0 against bad teams is better than being 1-2 or 0-3. But I do agree you'll get a better idea once you get past this bottom feeders and start playing teams with talent
I think this is, for the most part, the right reaction. Trubisky didn't lose them that game, for sure.
