Steelers @ Bengals game thread.

We need to change to Pickett and pray TJ is OK.

 

Our season is shot if Watt is badly injured. Might as well start Pickett.

 

Trubisky didn't make a big turnover but until the FG drive, he didn't do much good.

Seven sacks and five forced turnovers and they were very fortunate to win. Can't get that every week.

Moore is awful, by the way.

 

The catch by Johson was a great catch. Trubisky didn’t throw the ball very well on that play.

 

I needed a defribillator watching the ending

 

Long snapper was the difference in the game. We had one the bengals didn’t.

 

The receivers seem like they don’t know what to do when the QB breaks the pocket, they all stand still. How bad is the Wallace injury, it appears Cam wasn’t injured that seriously, he attended the post game press conference, TJ worries me greatly hopefully not too serious, same with Najee, the damn OL doesn’t do him any favors. Anyone see how bad Leal’s injury was? I hope Cole isn’t that bad.

 

The Steelers are saying that they feel Watt has a torn pec.

Bummed about that one.

 

What a nail biter you guys had. Just finished watching it with my wife (a Steeler fan). Your guys defense and the Bengal long snapper bailed you guys out. Glad you won this one so I didn't have to hear it from my brother-in-law who's a Bengals fan. Think he'll be quiet for awhile after this game.

It looks like Trubiskey had about the same type of game (and similar stats today) to what Brisset did for my Brownies. Not too bad but needing to be quite a bit better. Just curious, how long do you think he'll keep the job from Pickett playing like this? And what about even if he keeps you guys winning?

 

I say Pickett will start vs the Jets. The Steelers are at the Browns on a Thursday which would give the team a long practice week.

 

So you're saying the Browns DEF(and maybe a loss?) will be the cause for Pickett to get the start the next game?

 

Great win Steelers fans. Glad y'all shut up Bengals fans for at least a week. Not on this forum, but they've been too cocky and over confident all offseason so this humbling was needed

Better yet, attacks someone personally because he feels such a deep, personal connection with a player he's never met, and that poster had a negative comment about said player.

If the Oline doesnt get better it doesnt matter who starts for the Steelers.

 

Did you watch the game? We should have destroyed the bengals with all the turnovers, but Trubisky stunk it up. Pickett can’t play that crappie even with the online. If Pickett was our QB Watt probably is watching the backups mop up the end of the game and in perfect health right now.
