Babyfan's 14th Annual NFL Pick'em Contest!

Have you heard of Ogopogo (Naitaka)? He was the lake monster of Kalamalka Lake. I remember that they used to sell milk cartons with a cartoon of the monster on them. He was first sighted in 1872 by a pioneer woman. There are still sightings happening these days. I used to kayak across Kalamalka, hoping to see him and I found a little cove with white sand and spent a lot of time there in the sun.

Ogopogo comes from the Okanagan Lake and his History is @ at Squally Point......an island directly across from Peachland.

And if you drink 3 Bottles of Vodka you will see the Ogopogo as well.....lol

Many people have tried to find him including Leonard Nimoy in a Submarine......Nothing came of it.

The Lake Monster does Not exist but is probably a large Sturgeon that swims up and down the Okanagan Lake.

And then when you drink 3 Bottles of Vodka you will see the Ogopogo.......lol.....But he is very good tourism in the Okanagan because people actually think he does Live here......they go out of their way to find him.

Ogo is a Legend and he even got a Canada Post Stamp.

Sunday Football is going to be very somber as it's the 21st anniversary of 911 start to the season..... my Thoughts and Prayers go out to all the Families and Loved ones of the victims of this Murder.

Very Sad day that change History of the World and we are going to see a lot of ceremonies before the start of each game.

Solider Field in Chicago will Kick things off with a Tribute to the victims.......and I think the player's will be allowed to wear special apparel for 911.
