Wow, so many big names have passed in the last few weeks!

 

Vin Scully, the voice of the Dodgers.

 

Announced Dodger games for 67 years. Scully was the voice of the Dodgers when they still played in Brooklyn and Jackie Robinson was playing.

 

The GOAT of baseball broadcasting...Nobody could paint the picture with words better than Vin Skully. We lost a true legend.

 

I grew up listening to him. I can barely listen to a Dodger game today. It's just not the same.

 

For anyone that never had the priveledge to enjoy a game called by Skully, check out the movie For Love Of The Game. If you can stand Kevin Costner strolling down memory lane, there is a lot of Vin Skully calling his final game. Not a terrible movie, but I believe it could have been better. Skully was his usual greatness.
