This might be the saddest post I’ve ever read about football… Josh Rosen could challenge Jacoby Brissett to be the starter for the Cleveland Browns. It reads: Same ol’ Browns Or Only in Cleveland Or Mistake by the lake I could go on and on…
It would never hurt, but what in the holy hell gives you good vibes that this is their year?? Seriously?
Why ya gotta be like that? It's an irrelevant signing.....The weather was still great. Jose still got 2 hits in the All Star game, and Clase mowed em' down for the 3x K save...
Maybe you should pick a new team if it makes you this miserable...I know SAS is lonely over in Chargerland.
I’ve been where you sit brother, my good vibes have run dry. Not trying to spoil your happy trip, but damn, I got sand rubbing between my ass cheeks when it comes to the Browns 2022 season.
Been where I sit? I'm older than you mofo! lol! Bullcrap man.,.. This is a SB caliber roster, PLUS we have an extra light early season schedule. There is NO reason to think we couldn't be 4-4 at worst heading into our perfectly placed bye week....If the suspension is 8 (as all things are pointing), why wouldn't Browns fans be excited?
Why? Well I can give you one answer, mine. This Watson thing taints the Browns IMO. I will find it very difficult to celebrate wins behind a guy who's clearly got issues with women, and poor judgement in how he pursues them. Add to that the king's ransom we are paying for the privledge of having a predator for our on field leader, while giving away our future, and I'm all for having someone other than "an adult" at QB. Everything other than winning stinks to high heaven. I've been embarassed as a Browns fan, but now I'm ashamed. That is why I "won't be excited" about this year's Browns. Maybel by next year I'll be numbed enough to look past the "Watson is a predator" feeling, and get back to feeling good for my team, but for now, I just can't..
Was it you or Lyman criticizing people for "telling others how to be fans of their team"? I can't remember, so just checking.
It's fair to feel this way, and expressing it is really important. The toxic "devotion to your team no matter what" bullshit is what leads to this crap in the first place. Better to talk about it, have tough conversations, deal with difficult feelings / situations and grow from it. That's how we get new / higher standards in the sport. Given how some of the Ohio crowd reacted to the Urban Meyer exit there, I'm not entirely optimistic that this time will go better, but I'll always hope. For the record, you're allowed to feel like this about your team for any reason. Sports exists to make our lives better, not worse. If you find that a sport / team is making your time worse, walk away from it. I know that, in the space I made by taking breaks from football (the Bears have fucking sucked for a LONG time), I gained a lot of perspective and my life got better. And I can always come back better for it. It's tough being a real Browns fan, right now. I feel for y'all. Always feel free to talk about it.
Welcome to Cleveland Josh... Quite frankly, it's a much longer video than I imagined it could possibly be. lol!
Pound for pound, is there anyone stronger than Nick Chubb? Dude is a freak. Look at that bar! I wouldn't want to be one of those spotters. lol! Damn that's a lot of faith in the weight locks.
