2022 Off Season Free Agency and Draft Thread

The Ravens first three picks have been players thay were consensus top 20 picks back when the superbowl ended. Yeah we need a WR, and there's uncertainty regarding the healthy of Peters, Humphrey, Stanley, and the RBs, but it's hard to complain about this draft so far. Ojabo is scheduled to return in October as of now. We've seen an llder Sughs year his achilles in April and still return in, I think, October then go on to have a DPOY season after that

 

The Ravens added Travis Jones in the 3rd round. Some think he was a 2nd round sleeper who fell to the 3rd. I don't know but we have a Brandon Williams type of space eater who can also generate push and collapse the pocket at times.

Baltimore now has 6 picks in the fourth. Admittedly I thought they'd have traded a few for 2nd or 3rd round picks, but it seems we'll draft 6 times in this round. I'm betting CBs, WRs, LBs, and o-line. Just these four positions with two of them being double dip picks.

EDIT: "o-line" doesn't count as one pick so to specify, I'm saying OT

 

First two picks in the 4th were OT and CB. Let's see if I'm right about the next four also

I have to say, in today's NFL, that has to be the best kept secret ever. I mean, how did it not get out on Social media that Hollywood Brown was in AZ for the watch party? These guys should work for the Government.

 

The ravens are probably the only team that could have a winning record with that WR room

 

So now that the schedules have been released, we see that the Ravens start the season with all four AFC East teams. Can we sweep the East is the question for month 1 of the season.

Can we start the season 4-0, or at least 3-1? Jets has a good draft. Dolphins beat us last year. Patriots are still coached by the hoodie. Bills univerally considered a top 3 AFC team, top 5 in the league. We're going to have a great idea of who these Ravens are early enough in the season. 2-2 or worse would have the panic alarm at full blast
