It's their strategy that if they do that then people that only look at ESPN 1 will have a reason to switch for the draft and get the people that want to see the basketball on the main channel. They assume ppl are stupid. Also advert money probably higher this way.

Some times someone draft Ed Ingram in a great spot and sometimes someone takes the equivalent of Cole Strange.

 

Cole Strange...Sounds like a made up blues guitar guy stage name.
