    Packers lurking on deck...

Also, if we get to it, I have a list from Turf_toe that has one name left on it. But he'll be home around 2pm anyway.

He was my "1-B" choice when I took Matthew Butler for Denver. Came down to whether I'd rather have the extra depth at the five tech or the nose. Went with the five.

Makes sense for sure, NT is our bigger need of the two and overall adding Ridgeway and Jackson gives us a very deep defensive front. Not really where I saw myself going with the draft, but I feel like my picks are just a half round value off from where I'd be taking some of the WRs.

Yeah I’ve definitely had drafts like that. This might be one of them. At Edge and WR and probably CB it quickly became “You want one? You better go get one and screw if his grade really belongs more in the next round.”

Just runs that really test your patience as far as not reaching.

Overall though I don't have too many complaints about my draft thus far:

1(26): Traded down to 2(11) picking up 3(10) and giving up 6(41)
    2(11): Tyler Smith, OT, Tulsa
He may end up at OG in the long run, but we'll at least start with the idea of him being our RT. In reality we just need one of him and Radunz (our 2nd rounder last year) to be able to play tackle and the other can fill in at our Saffold-sized hole at LG. I feel pretty confident at least one of the two will be able to pull that off, putting our O-line in a pretty good place moving forward.
    3(10): Drake Jackson, EDGE, USC
I probably got greedy here and should've just taken David Bell like I was debating. That being said I think Jackson offers a lot of upside, especially with Landry and Dupree allowing him time to develop. He played light, but showed at the combine/his proday that he can still be an explosive athlete at a much higher weigh (player in the mid 240s and was 270 at his proday). I also like that we have an option to give Landry a rest now as he played a ton of snaps last year.
    3(26): Greg Dulcich, TE, UCLA
FINALLY! The pass catcher fans have been calling out for. Most probably wanted a WR first but the value here on Dulcich was great. He offers a lot of potential as a move TE, which is an area that our offense has been sorely missing since the departure of Jonnu Smith to NE. I think with his frame Dulcich can be coached into a good enough blocker for us as well to stay on the field all the time.
    4(26): John Ridgeway, DL, Arkansas
He has the traits to play NT or 3-4 DE if needed and we could use some more depth at nose. Worst case he's just a depth piece that helps us keep our starters fresh, but could develop into a starter down the road if things go right.

I was debating between him and Mitchell when you made that pick. Truth be told, I was leaning toward Ridgeway. So yeah, you sniped me.

In past Mocks and GMO drafts, I've often wondered how you guys put together your "Big Boards". In those past mocks and GMO's, I had a system where I combined 2 or 3 of the big boards available on-line. Due to the tight timing on this one, I opted to just go with one and run with it as is. I know some of you look at a ton of tape but, can you really look at tape for about 300 prospects?
