I let him know. He's just looking at the board and then will probably relay it to me because God knows when the last time he actually logged on was.

Hmmm... I shared access with you, LAOJoe and Tim so that all of you would also have this version for future mocks. I guess I forgot to explain that you also had edit access...

Anyway - heads up that I have another version of it for future mocks. Even more of the schedule is formula-driven. The idea is that you'd fill in the full NFL list of picks in a reference tab, enter your start date, time windows per pick for each round, and start/end times for each day, and the formulas would generate the info in the tabs for each round. That way you can play around with start/end times, minutes per pick etc and see how the entire schedule unfolds.

Boy that waiting game for Indy the last 6-7 picks was brutal. I thought about trading up. Not much secret they're looking for an OT of the future. Ballard is staying patient. Really tough not to have a 1st rounder this year.

But I see some potential in Walker's game. He's naturally strong. Has to refine his footwork to guard against inside counters. But he gets outside pretty well and does a pretty good job working outside to inside. Has pretty good recovery quickness and some natural power in the run game, most of the time. He's not a finished product, but I see some excellent upside for a 4th rounder. Without a 1st rounder it's an immediate debate for Indy I think how to handle that position this offseason. Trade assets we're short on to gamble on a Raimann or Tyler Smith? Hope either is available with our first natural selection at 42? Is either one actually even a better prospect than Walker?

    All that worth debating.

It's actually a fun debate for me this year, needing an LT. I see some intriguing options. @Tim @xinik and anyone else that wants to go down this rabbit hole; I immediately when scouting guys with upside vs guys that might be options for us after round 1 saw an excellent comparison between Tyler Smith, Rasheed Walker, and Nicholas Petit-Frere. None are finished products, and I've already on first and second watch changed my rankings among that group. If you have time and want the adventure, watch the tape of those 3 back to back and tell me your thoughts. It's a tough one. And that's why they pay the real life GM's the big bucks.

I didn't forget. Just never had the chance to do it easily from a phone.

Sounds about right. When I tried to @ him it didn't even come up, so....

Can’t fault that decision process, I love Ross’ game and the upside is well worth the risk in the 4th round. He definitely would’ve been in play for the Pats if we had stood pat and he was still on the board at 127. Austin’s lack of stature is concerning but Pats offense needs speed and playmaking. And at the very least he gives us an immediate replacement as a punt returner.

I think it's because he has an apostrophe in his name.

He'll be fine. Belichick will line him in the slot so it's harder to jam him.

We'll I've got my guy if he doesn't snipe him.

I didn't even get that far though. It already wasn't coming up @Charg

Don't know why it's not coming to me. But I've tried 3 times. It's just not generating.
Even made sure to capitalize this time (shouldn't matter) and got as far as the '

Still not coming up for me. Weird

You can manually add the whole thing to a convo. Also his user number is 790 so you can add that to the @ command if you look at it as a reply and then type in his name exactly. It won't pop up as suggested because of the apostrophe. Oh and he was last on in 2020 lol.

San Francisco offering 4.29 and 6.41 for an otc pick, until further notice.

Yikes... SF suddenly regretting trading down earlier...

No, no. Gained a 3 next year, improved 20 spots in the 6th. A team that believes they are SB ready has 9 total selections. If I can just "make sure" I get my next name for a comp 6th, why not? Was always part of my plan even when I moved down.

If I was worried I'd offer one of the 5-6 picks better than 6.41 that we have, but I won't.

Yeah I’m not worried that we have coaches and a QB that would know how to utilize him and he plays bigger than he is…more a question of durability for me with a guy that size.

Yeah, you know how I like collecting a future pick here and there. Definitely like it for SF.

It was kinda hard for me to give up a future 3rd (can't remember if I've done that before), but the situation made it clear that it was the right thing for Chicago to do.
