One other thing I can say about @RTTRUTH 's pick of Troy Anderson... it's the last pick (#69 overall) of the Draft Value Challenge game that I'm throwing out there for this year... The idea is that instead of looking through each round and picking risers/fallers, we take a block of players and choose Rise or Fall for each one. Just to try it out this year, I'm keeping this one small and simple at just ten players - the last five players taken in round 2 and the first five players taken in round 3, which also happens to be the 60s block (#60 through #69 overall). For this small version: Pick a riser and he rises = +2 points per pick that he rises. Max gain = +136 points. (Don't ask me to allow more than that for a riser. I'm standing on that as a FIRM ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM and will NOT go any higher.) Pick a riser and he falls = -1 point per pick, max loss = -50 points. Pick a faller and he falls = +1 point per pick that he falls, max gain = +50 points Pick a faller and he rises = -2 points per pick that he rises, max loss = -50 points. I'm guessing with only 10 picks involved, we might have some ties because some of us pick the same combinations of rise/fall. For this year, I'm good with that. I just want to test this idea out and see how it flies. (And if the Draft Experts out there want a bigger challenge, the original idea I had in mind was be to take the block of 20 players from 143-162 overall, +1/-1 point in either direction, max +/- 100 per pick. I'll leave it up to you if you want to add that one in as the Iron Man Draft Value Challenge.)
The Tennessee Titans select Drake Jackson, Edge, USC. Not really a need at all but he’s easily one of my BPA at this point as I could see him going a round earlier. He’s an athletic freak with decent production who was able to stack on a lot more weight for testing too. I think he can spell Landry and Dupree early (very needed for Landry as he played a ton of snaps) and possibly can take over for Bud if he disappoints
The Denver Broncos select Isaiah Spiller, RB, Texas A&M The next group of three or four RBs (after Hall and Walker) have very different attributes/skill sets. I suspect that which one goes when in the real draft is up for grabs based on the specific needs of each team. In this case, Spiller is my Liam Neeson ("particular set of skills") to work with Russell Wilson in the new Denver offense.
