As this draft draws closer, it’s starting to shape up/potentially project like one of those years that we will look back on wondering if it was just a down year or circumstances led to fewer breakouts.
The New York Jets are OTC. Will consider trading back if anyone wants to make an offer. Future picks included might be ideal.
WR's going at a premium just like we all knew they would... My question is: How much better are the $30M guys then these young guns? I think we are coming to a head on the WR money.
I think it could very well be a bit of both. I think the lack of truly elite players at a number of positions will lead teams to reach on guys they think they can grow/fix. There are a bunch of guys I like but very few I love, so I could see that being seen as a disappointment by the teams in a few years.
The sad part is I would almost say Pickens shouldn’t go that high. But for teams that want a WR with #1 potential you are almost forced because of the run on them in the first round. They say it’s a strong wide receiver class. But you can almost make the argument it ends right there lol
I think that’s fairly accurate, but let’s reverse engineer this and see where it goes. If I can borrow a couple minutes of your time, friend, I would like to see you make the argument for why the Jaguars were inclined to make this deal.
I don’t know man. The minute anyone not named Hopkins got over 20 AAV I would almost argue that was the beginning
