If Dean fell to the Bengals, very few teams would be able to run on them. We saw them control some of the best running backs in that game without him, add him to the mix, every team would become a pass first offense against them and would take away Jackson and Watsons biggest threat, their legs with a LB spy in Wilson or Dean.
You might want to re-evaluate... It might take more than Dean to stop Chubb. In two games last year he ran for 9.79 ypc and 6.44 ypc respectively against the Bengals. As for Watson, as much as I don't want him on our team until this outside business is over and he is exonerated, BUT... Watson doesn't actually run very much. He only runs 5-6 times per game, compared to Lamar at 11 times per game.
Alright I am heading out in a few. I'll try to monitor whats going on if I can so I don't hold things up too long if I wind up on the clock quickly here.
Sometimes I wonder if Ken Herock and Thomas Dimitroff might have had better Falcons drafts if they actually did start drinking before they got on the clock...
Das boot already had a round of sour beer and I had a couple more at my buddy's but now that I'm home it's probably Moosehead for the night.
That was my preferred beer for about a year. Now, it’s nothing but 4am wake ups, 5 to 8 at the gym and lite beers on the weekend. lol
The first time the Bengals were definitely not there for the game, the second game was the second string team for the most part. When you look at the playoffs. They kept Derek Henry to 3.1 ypc, They kept Akers 1.6 YPC, they didn't allow a single rusher in the playoffs to over 100 yards rushing. Add a Dean speed to Wilson's intuativeness and Pratt's aggressiveness, they become a second level wall, with some room for mistakes.
