I see approximately $7,564,278 for the Browns current rookie class, barring any trades.

This is where I get a little confused, I was looking at Over The Cap, which states the Browns currently have $26,292,979 in available cap space.. Since you mentioned spotrac, they actually show $22,036,427. I have no idea where the discrepancy is as both are for the top 51 contracts supposedly.

The only thing I can see, is, I don't believe Spotrac has Hooper as a post June 1 designation. It looks like they are crediting him with the complete cap hit and it looks like OTC has it listed correctly. Numbers still don't match up completely though, even taking that into account.

This kinda went under the radar, but at age 26 on a 1 year "prove it" deal, I like the signing of Taven Bryan. Former 1st rd pick, with all the traits. Freakish athlete. They didn't develope him in Jacksonville. Maybe change of scenery gets him going.

I'd be more concerned that #44 in the above clip is now playing for the Steelers, tbh...

So I missed this earlier, but Davis Mills in Deshaun's offense with an absolute poop roster - started 11 games. His last six starts to finish the season:

    146 of 209 (69.9%), 1,568 yards (7.5 YPA), 11 TD (5.3), 3 INT (1.4), 261.3 YPG, 103.1 QB rating

Sorry y'all... Browns F/O made a deal with the devil and made that devil the highest paid player in the NFL, all to wind up with a system quarterback.

Sorry, @Lyman... gonna be a while before the positivity comes back. I'm thinking like... five seasons?

I can promise you the Steelers are not on my list of concerns. Not to be cliche', but this is a QB league, and we've taken a monumental leap over them in that department....

Hopefully that's not true...For one thing, ya don't trade three first rounders for a guy you only plan on having around for a short time. We are in for the long haul with Deshaun. Watson will be here for a lot longer than 5 years. He'll be signing a bigger contract with a longer extension and more guarantees in about 4 years.

A healthy Baker Mayfield was a healthy leap...even when Ben was still suiting up.

I predict Baker Mayfield will go to the Seattle Seahawks.........and the Browns get a Nice Draft Pick.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in the New Millennium (2000 +) have the Cleveland Browns had 12 QB's

Realistically, if this team doesn't win a Super Bowl in the next four, everyone involved in the decision (besides Haslam) and the QB are gone.

I think you are right. In fact if they don't make it to a Super Bowl within 3 years, I think they are gone.. possibly 2 years. Whichever year they suspend Watson, if they lose an inordinate number of games while gone, they will get a pass. Otherwise, I think Haslem is ready to win now or else.

The only two periods of *relative* stability (at least as it counts for in Cleveland) saw us take a QB at No. 1 overall and make the post-season. And then find a way to use injuries to complete decimate any progress being made.
