On Travis Jones DT UConn. He won’t be there in the 4th. If he’s there in the 3rd and they pass on Jordan Davis they can get OL in round 1. I’d rather draft OG Kenyon Green over Lindenbaum he’s 30-40 lbs heavier and he’s an animal. I’d rather take the best OG (not old gangster) or DL over the 5th best OT. Watching LVI last night minus the shitastic halftime Crapfestival, #55 Logan Wilson for the Bengals is what they need. Dude was all over the field and covered receivers tight. That’s why I
Liked Chad Muma but that might be a stretch as far as “compares to”.

 

Also the penalty on Wilson was bullshit. They let them play all game long. 2 penalties missed that were easy call. The face mask on Ramsey was WTF. Also same play as the holding call on Wilson the rams had 3 OL moving backwards before the snap. Should have been a false start it was pretty egregious

 

Yeah the two worst calls IMO in that whole game were the obvious facemask uncalled on Higgins that resulted in TD.
And that phantom holding call on 3rd & 5 against Logan Wilson, giving the Rams a new set of downs and possibly the ball game. That one is exacerbated by the spot in the game, under two minutes. Hard not to call that possibly game altering. But calls were and weren't missed both ways. It's apparently never going to be perfect.

 

The biggest problem with the calls at the end of the game was that they let both teams get away with that stuff for 58 minutes and then decided to call them no matter how ticky tacky. You run the whole game one way and then change the way you call it for the last two minutes.

 

Mr. Pancake nice option at RT too stiff for LT but he’s an upgrade over chuks.

Just saw TE’s I know we’re not in the market really but I thought Cam’s brother Conner actually had himself a good day. Caught the ball with ease, soft hands, hit the sled good, good technique. Definitely could be a ST demon. Use him like Juszwiak more of a FB and that could be scary.

 

He’s a late rd pick so it could happen Rock. He might even be undrafted and I’m sure Cam could convince him to become a Steeler

 

I doubt he goes undrafted, but I do agree he’s a late day 3 pick, if we had two 6 rounders I’d use the 2nd of the 2 on him.

 

This WR Position is crazy deep this year, we could get a good one in the third. We need that burner.

 

Wyatt, Davis, and Jones are just sick in the DL group.

 

Dont rule out Zion Johnson @ 20

 

Even with the FA they picked up. Seems like overkill at that position now.

 

Agreed, good fit but i missed the fact Steelers signed 2 OL and extended Chuks. Im leaning toward WR or DL now. Forget Walter Football they have the Steelers taking Malik Willis with a ton of WR1 talent still sitting there.

 

Unless its jamar chase like wr they need to go defense first. The steelers are already offesnivley behind several teams in the afc and thats even if we get the best version of Mitch. So if you cannot catch up i the arms race i the afc (and face it its not happening). The push your chips all in on the D. Bring in the honey badger and jump up in the draft for a stud defensive player.

I doubt they go CB unless Sauce Gardner tumbles.

 

I really like Trent McDuffie but I feel like he goes between 10-15.

Im trying to guess what the first round pick is, not easy. Jordan Davis won’t get past Balt. @ 14 or S.D. @ 17. They need DT and WR1. Unless a solid OT is there or Malik Willis drops I don’t know what I would do. Class is stacked with WR and CB talent. Lots of solid OL guys too. I’m passing on Lindenbaum too light, alligator arms. Travis Jones is in play not a deep DT class lots of 3 techniques and 5 Techniques. They don’t trade back often bit I would a few spots to get another pick and take Jones. You gotta fix the run D! I don’t think Skyy Moore lasts to 52 but again WR is a deep class ! If he’s there in the 3-4 round I really like the OT/OG out of Tulsa ,Tyler Smith, he’s a pancake machine . The one thing to focus on is big conference schools and underclassmen, that’s their mantra for rounds 1&2.
