    Yup.

    Season over.

About 100 more questions than answers at this point with this team and still two meaningful games to go. We can still shoot for a winning record and a winning record within the division which is worth striving towards. Just going to be an even worse offseason than originally anticipated...

WTF… sure seemed like a late hit by Watt on 4th down. I wish I still had replay.

    Good lord...

Just imagine where this team would be if they would have taken Josh Allen instead of Baker?

Totally disagree, but I'll leave it alone...

    It doesn't matter...

    Baker isn't good right now...

The best pass rusher in that draft was Watt. I'm glad you guys got stuck with Garrett and we had to pick TJ

Way too many variables to project that but I think it's safe to say he wouldn't be the same player he is today.

The Browns have a good one in Andrew Berry. They have a nice nucleus of players. And I think the head coach is pretty good. Just need a QB.

You would think that the coach is pretty good since he schemed an gameplan involving rookie fourth round pick James Hudson isolated against the NFL sack leader all night.

    :p

I'm being genuine when I say they probably need to at least inquire about Stefanski's replacement. At a bare minimum, he needs stripped of play-calling duties so he can focus on the flow of the actual game instead of being buried in a playsheet. He has contributed to more losses this season than any one player, including Bake.

The only factor that should go into the decision to move on from Baker at this point is how damaged he actually is and whether or not we can salvage him. We're honestly a couple more bad games/gameplans away from Tim Couch 2.0.

Tell me again how Stefanski doesn't deserve to (at the least) be demoted from play-calling and game planning and (at worst) be relieved completely of duties for gross negligence.

Well, it took them 22 years, but the Browns finally put a product on the field that I couldn't watch. I turned the game off before halftime (a Browns/Steelers game to boot) and watched a couple episodes of "Yellowstone".
    • Clowney's bone headed "throw the shoe penalty" was the clincher.
    • Mayfield had no business even suiting up last night. If his injuries prevented him from playing at an NFL caliber level, he should have been enough of a professional to own it and opt to get himself healthy instead of hurting the team by attempting to play. I fully expect to see Mayfield in a body cast in one of his next commercials.
    • Stefanski needed to put his big boy shorts on and, at least, yanked Mayfield when it was apparent he wasn't up to the task. A healthy Keenum would have been better than what Mayfield had to offer. Hell, Beth Dutton would have been a better option.

So..you would rather have Antonio Brown then?

Mayfield doesn't make that call, the medical team does.

Now..If I were him, after the 3rd (possibly 2nd) sack, I would have taken a dive and started holding my shoulder like it was falling off. But, he isn't me, which is why he was still out there after 9 sacks.

I am an admitted apologist for Mayfield, but I just don't understand how hatred and blame get pressed upon this kid by the fanbase in general (not directing this to you Lym)? He has done nothing more than lay his career on the line this season, based on the decisions of those around him. The medical staff says he is good to go..so he goes.

The coaching staff sees that his injuries hinder his performance, but decide he is still the best option with the hopes of winning..so he goes.

The players do not make any decisions as far as availability and/or who starts, plays or sits...Well, again, except for Antonio Brown...

I know we are going to butt heads here Lyman, especially since you are in the majority. Make me understand. I mean this sincerely, because I really don't get it and want to. I don't understand how Baker is to blame for this season.

Everyone that is going to come on here and say "He sucks" please save us all the time. I am asking a legitimate question in hopes of getting some intelligent responses.

Keenum couldn't block TJ Watt and throw the ball at the same time. I'm not sure any QB behind that line play last night would have garnered more than the 14 points the Browns were able to muster. On the other side of the coin, the Steelers looked like they were MAD AS HELL. Every player on defense had more energy than I have seen them play with all season. When TJ Watt subbed out, he was taking oxygen. When someone subbed in for him, they were going like it was a practice drill and this could be their only opportunity to be seen to make the team...Despite all of that, the Browns still managed to drive the field twice for TDs.

The Steelers wanted it and they took it.. That's what I saw.

BTW, TJ Watt is my vote for DPOY. I don't think there is another player in the league that should garner votes. Not just because of this game... But when the chips were down and they needed a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, the kid gave EVERYTHING he had to make sure that stayed alive. I know they aren't going to make it, but if there is hope, there should be total effort.. he gave total effort.
