I'm personally not a proponent of UBI. I think there's probably a day it will become a reality in some left leaning countries. And I do think the current generation of Americans at the minimal voting age lean far enough left to make it a reality some day. However....the ridiculous future you're predicting is made up crap.

Lab grown meat is actually a really good idea if it can be done safely and done at a level where enough is made for everyone. We are currently far away from there.

As far as edible insects. I hate to break your delicate bubble but a large percentage of the world has always eaten bugs because food isn't always easy to come by. And as we continue to destroy the planet....it's a realistic future that has nothing to do with conspiracies and everything to do with dwindling resources. Why those of us that live in civilized society don't really get it...there are places in the world where eating meat like beef, pork, and chicken, isn't really a possibility.

Scientists are currently figuring out how to get milk from insects like cockroaches because there's going to come a day that getting milk from cows might be impossible. Not a conspiracy.

And yeah...as resources dwindle...only those with money will be able to get the nicer things. But when has that ever not been true? A poor family in China or Japan can't eat steak right now. They barely get protein. In a lot of poor farming areas the farmers and their families used to eat a lot of quinoa. Because it was a dirt cheap grain. Then it became popular with white people in first world countries. Now...the people who grow it can't afford to eat it. Not a conspiracy. Just one of those shitty facts of life.

Well the problem is freedom has always been an illusion for the average person. Because the average person has to work a job they don't want. Pay taxes they can't afford. Catch diseases they can't fight and die much younger than they would have otherwise chosen.

Slavery has always existed. So has racism and misogyny. War, famine, and death. The average person on the globe today is what you would call poor. Kids are born with terminal illnesses every day. Bombs are dropped on innocent people. People are used and exploited all the time. Sweat shops exist in this world with suicide windows in case you've decided you just can't do it anymore. The rich have always taken advantage of the poor. Welcome to what we call life.
