I guess there is about $8M the Browns will eat if he isn't claimed on waivers. Sounds like Berry and OBJ reps are discussing an exit strategy to avoid that. Smart, I'm not sure I have ever seen a GM try to do that...
While the Browns lead the NFL in penalties against (overt bias), apologies from League office, and total missed calls... some teams get the game handed to them when the League office wires the directions over. Must be nice.
Not one, but TWO questions. If both these guys were vaccinated (I believe they were), then how effective is this miracle vaccine? How reliable is the Covid test? I personally have been the victim of a false positive Covid test.
Did a little research. Both Chubb and Felton were, in fact, vaccinated. If they get two negative test results 24 hrs apart, they could still play against the Patriots. That kinda answers my 2nd question.
On a more positive note . . . The Browns and RG Wyatt Teller have reached an agreement on a four year contract extension.

Despite the refs trying their best, they weren't able to cheat Miami out of a huge win last night. In Lamar's last three games (1-2), he's completing less than 60% of his passes, is taking an average of 4.0 sacks per game, and has a QB rating of 82.6. They get Chicago next week who was profoundly cheated out of a win by the refs against Pittsburgh. I'm rooting like hell for the Bears next week again. AFC North is wide open now and the Browns seem to be getting healthy at the right time.
No doubt! My goodness,they sure as hell tried though. Almost as much as the refs in the Pittsburgh/Chicago game... This might be the worst NFL Ref season ever...smh. It's hard to believe some of these atrocious calls.
A quick venting... At 5-5, obviously this is not going as planned. IMO the biggest problem this season has been Kevin Stefanski....Coach of the year has been awful in the follow up season, plain and simple. I'm pretty sure Bill still hasn't let him out of detention. Seriously though, leading the league in penalties speaks for itself, but the real issue is how much this offense has regressed. One for 11 on 3rd downs vs. the Pats? Really? This while NE put on a clinic on converting 3rd downs on our face all afternoon....Whew. That was brutal. The Browns march down the field on the first drive of the game and score. BB takes off his headset and addresses his defense on the sideline for 12 seconds. Browns completely shut down for the rest of the game...Not the first time we've seen this act either. Been pretty good on the first drive of games, and then sometimes not so much after that.... IMO KS needs to loosen the reigns on his "stiff as a board" offense, and let Mayfield find his comfort zone. Ya gotta let Baker bake , or this season is a wash. I've seen whores in church that look more comfortable than Baker this year. and I don't think it's just because he's banged up. This offense is not clicking like it has in the past ...If we continue this precision timing garbage that isn't working, I don't see how we can possibly overcome the league's toughest remaining schedule.
