If the Defense shows up (especially the secondary) the Browns might have a chance. Happy game day. GO Browns
He was designated to return about a week ago and managed to get in one practice this week. According to NBC's PFT, he is going to play tonight. We'll see.
He did practice yesterday and he was activated to play tonight. They might be without OBJ though, that hasn't been announced yet. He did not practice yesterday.
I hope it isn't the reason, but I think Mayfield was eyeing Favre's consecutive start record. I loved Brett, possibly in big part to that record and what he did over the years playing injured. But, frankly I don't want to rely on a hurt Baker Mayfield if the team doctor/trainer doesn't think he should play. If they are good, I am good, but I wouldn't want him talking them out of letting him play.
In other news effecting tonights game... Per PFT Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy won’t make his return from injured reserve for Thursday night’s game against the Browns. Jeudy was designated to return last Saturday, but head coach Vic Fangio said he was unlikely to play this week and the team is not activating him ahead of the game. Thats one less thing for the Browns secondary to worry about.
The designation for return actually happened last week, they considered activating him for the Cardinals game, but held off. Then he practiced yesterday and he didn't have any effects from the practice so they activated him today.
Well, I sure don’t think kicker is a problem any more. Chase McLaughlin nailed a 52 yarder with some good wind blowing. 4 for 4 from 50+ so far and 10 for 10 overall.
Love when your third string RB gets me 20 pts (late waiver pickup after the injury to chubb) Great job taking care of Denver tonight. Can't stand the Broncos
