In L4SN league I’m still shopping Darrel Williams.

He’s the starter in a Mahomes offense for at least a few weeks.

    Okay, I have one roster spot open. Who do I start? Here are the choices;

option 1: Julio Jones. Practiced in full Thurs. and Fri. Plus it's nice to have a player in MNF game...Other than that, it's been rough go for Julio this season. They are playing the high powered Bills, so there is definitely a chance that Tenn will be forced to throw more than usual. Seems like a week where Jones could have a nice stat line in a game that Tenny loses by multiple scores....

option 2: Kadarious Toney. He's been on fire, but there are some things concerning me. He's expected to play but has been limited in practice all week by gimpy ankle. He'll likely be going against Jalen Ramsey. That's "proffessional antagonist" and superstar CB Jalen Ramsey. This coming on the heels of a game in which Toney got tossed at the end for throwing a punch at Damontee Kazee. So obviously that's not ideal. Nor is the fact that Mike Glennon will be starting QB....All that said, They gotta throw to somebody and KT's volume of late can't be denied....

option 3: Rondale Moore. Dangerous any given week, and just seems like the type of player that might gash the banged up Cleveland secondary this Sunday. Supposedly Ward is expected to play, though I figure he'll likely be occupied with Hopkins...

decisions, decisions....As always, any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

Don’t mix fantasy against your favorite team. It’s like metal torture.

Personally I’d go Toney. When the choice isn’t obvious I tend to ask “what have you done for me lately?”. And he’s leading that pack.

I like Moore, but his productive vs unproductive weeks are a dart throw.

It’s a tough one. But I’m going Toney. And as good as he’s looked lately, I don’t think his name is built up quite enough that Ramsey is just going to follow him around all day. I think he’ll get his reps on other guys. They should be playing from behind as well.

If you are really unsure 20 minutes before the game time, just close your eyes for a few seconds and trust your gut.

    Nothing?

lol! Appreciate it RT...FWIW, I'm leaning that way. I'd love to have another MNF guy (already have Josh Allen), but Julio is a huge risk IMO...

Yeah. Somehow I want to say I saw the Julio letdown coming. You get those “rising” teams going after that HUGE name. (Julio=TEN / OBJ=CLE).
The hype goes through the roof but it usually ends up disappointing.

Who was the last big success?

  10. RTTRUTH Legend Manager Colts

I’d suggest Robert Woods, but when that signing happened I’m not sure he qualified as a huge name

Hopkins is a good example. Diggs I can’t decide. I don’t think they were an ascending team UNTIL that worked out.

Hopkins works the best. I knew there’d be a couple. Just weren’t coming to me. But something about Tennessee rising the way they did. Then the drama around the Julio sweepstakes. Losing your OC. I just felt like it would go backwards.

But...two weeks after losing to the Jets, they beat the Bills. Perhaps their failure has been over-stated

I know this. My teams have never been more affected by byes than they are this week. Holy cow! Across my leagues I'll be missing Josh Allen, Dak Prescott, Ceedee Lamb, Najee Harris, Justin Jefferson and Emmanuel Sanders among others. Pile that on top of major injury issues with Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, Julio Jones, Jerry Jeudy, George Kittle, Kadarious Toney, and uhm, you get the point...

In addition to missing some you named Dalvin Cook, Zach Moss, Mike Williams, Justin Herbert, Amari Cooper, Bills Defense, Chade Claypool ect

On the injury many you listed as well as Christian McCaffrey, David Montgomry, JuJu (who would be on bye if he werent injured). Ect

That doesnt even mention tge IDPs on bye or injury.

I think the injuries are the real killers you name a player missing significant time and i likely have them in 1 league or another.

Then there are the Covid IRs that pop up late in the week good times good times.

Bye's and IR have been ridiculous this week in the leagues I play. Had to really work hard and make some sacrifices to get my starting lineups together.

IR slots are full and the entire bench is on a bye, lol.

On the plus side in some leagues there was no decions to be made it like oh that is the only guy not injured or on a bye so they get the start

I sat Hopkins in two of my leagues and it bit me in the ass... The Browns lost AND I lost. One league it wouldn't have mattered, the other one it did.

Me too buddy, I was scrambling around Tuesday night getting ready for Wednesday waivers and I am still short one guy in one league that I currently have (3) TEs, one on IR, One on bye and one that has sat out the last two games injured, got moved to questionable this week, but hasn't practiced yet...Ugh.. I'm pulling my hair out. Same league I have a QB on IR and the other on bye, already got Tua added to the roster to fill in this week, he was the best of a shit list of available. This league doesn't have IR spots... I currently have 3 guys on IR and several on bye week.. It sucks.
