Bears v Browns Game Thread

I know social media is relatively new but the vibe is as united as I have ever seen it in calling for Nagy’s head after that game and not just from Bears media. His inadequacy is so blatant.

 

I can’t understand how Nagy could possibly survive into the morning except for the ownership of team is just that bad.

This is absolutely a game that gets you fired.

 

Remember Georgie is on record saying he consults with the Mara and Rooney family for how to run his team. Because Georgie/Old Hag are too fucking retarded + incompetent to know how a team should be run.

And Georgie says that the Steelers and Giants would never fire a coach midseason.

This is a philosophical debate that stretches back to the CBS days (and hell, in Bears fandom at least as long as I have been alive), are great QBs great because they are just that great, or are they put into positions to succeed. And no, that doesn't sitting him for a year to learn (or maybe it does), but what I think is this franchise just doesn't fucking get it.

You don't sell the farm for Fields, if you don't have the other pieces in place MOST IMPORTANTLY the line. Hell, the *exact* same thing could have been said when they drafted Trubisky, or any of the other big time QBs they drafted. Pace continually trades away capital so he has to hit on the picks he does have. Say what you will about the Browns, their line is solid, and that's how they can make a screen work, there is talent there to "sell" it.

More than that though, you also can't put him in the game, and abandon all sense. You have two of the best pash rushers in the game, so how do you gameplan for them? YOU DON'T CHIP GARRET? What in the fuck?

Fields year (hopefully only a year) with Nagy is going to hurt his development, no question. Ownership -> GM -> Head coach. These three haven't been good since Papa Bear passed, and that's no accident. This team succeeds despite management when it does.

I've seen this game a thousand times. The 9th level of Bears fan purgatory hell.
