Bears v Browns Game Thread

That was terrible WR play by Goodwin on 2nd down. Makes his break then doesnt take ONE step back towards the ball and totally brings the CB back into the play. Fields isnt getting help from a single player out there today.

 

That was my first thought. I know Fields has been a step late throwing balls over the last two weeks, but coming back to the ball AT ALL gets you a completion.

 

This game is an absolute sack fest, but im way more impressed with our D cos they're doing it while the team is getting crushed in TOP. Mega stout against the run too, so impressive.

 

I will pay whoever takes Nagy's headset away. Save this team now, please.

 

And Browns have been working to Chicago in nickel D as much as possible. Credit to them for the run fits, while not giving up any big passes yet.

 

Unfortunately it's being wasted on a classic Bears offensive performance.

 

Its basic WR play. On a comeback route like that you never stop still cos thats exactly what happens, the CB you've beaten comes back in. You come back to the QB and damn well keep coming back if its late. But you NEVER just stop.

Been some really weak calls against both Ds

 

They've run two or three of those PA boots. The commonality on each is that they've given Fields no one to throw to.

At first, I agreed. Watching that replay, I'm not sure he really got a push. Extended his arms, for sure, so I get the call, but I don't think it affected the play.
