Good night. Hopefully the next time we see Fields is sooner rather than later.

I watched the first half at a bowling alley for my brother in law's birthday. The game was more depressing than bowling in asscrack Sanford, FL.

Offensive line is going to kill this offense before Matt Nagy does.

Fields is still a work in progress, but there's no denying his talent. Every week this season is continually going to be me asking, "Does Fields' talent survive Nagy and Pace?". I hope the answer is always yes.

Saw some flashes of pass rush, defensive backs still didn't do anything for me. They got gashed too easily in the run, but I am understanding that they played a team who does that better than anyone else. I wasn't watching close enough to determine where the problem was there, so I won't hang up on that, even though it's been true in every game...

This offense is going to be unwatchable. I'm gonna have to decide how I'm getting through it - alcohol or otherwise. At least people in the media are starting to question Nagy's coaching and Pace's roster building. If we've gotta be upset with this team, at least we won't have to do it alone.

78 (Kamara) was the only edge guy who looked like he had any life to his game.

Gipson (99) looked like classic Leonard Floyd. A step too late on what otherwise looked like a great speed move to slip by the tackle.

Dbs shouldn't—in theory need to make run stops, because that’s what your DL and linebackers are for. But that part(tackling) still bad. Pass defense? Christian, Burns, DHC and Roberson all looked like they were playing for a roster spot in the 1st half.

Also am shocked we weren’t told how to root for our team this time.

Being a Bears fan all my life, I will say this, alcohol has never let me down.

I tend to think pure opium may be the way to go this season.

From where I was sitting in Nissan stadium that TD pass from Fields was a f'n beauty.

I was too drunk in the 2nd half to even pay attention to Foles.

Honestly, while I still think Fields has plenty of potential, the media suckfest over this one throw is really killing me. It was a great throw, where only Horstead could catch it, but the way the media waxes on it was done against HOF members during the Super Bowl. The hyperbole is killing me a little bit over a pre-season game against scrubs, and a *single* great throw and a mixed bag of raw talent. Mitch looked great once upon a time too media folks no matter how often you say, "it just feels different".

This is the same media that will fucking crucify him after his first int. The kid is going to need some time.

I'm with you. I do think, I know, Fields is a far different type of prospect than Trubisky.

It really does feel different with him. Not saying he's gonna be a star. He could be on the level of a Russell Wilson but he could also be a lesser version of Deshaun Watson (minus the butthole massage stuff).

Well right, the eye test doesn't lie, and Fields already has more poise, leadership and athleticism than Trubisky ever had. But I want to pump the breaks anointing him at this point. He's going to have some struggles, with Nagy at the helm sooner than later.

Is he better than Dalton? You bet and its ridiculous that he isn't going to start. If he does start though, is this offense magically going to transform into a top 10 unit? I really don't think so. He's got a lot to learn and has a shit-tastic oline and Visor Boy calling plays.
