Teams often used a spy on Trubisky and it worked cos he couldnt play QB. I think very quickly every team will use a spy on Fields, but that will only work to his advantage cos he can throw the ball and now there's one less guy in coverage.
Just getting to this thread. I'm a few hours behind - watching the Bills' first drive of the second quarter now. So I'll probably be reading and agreeing all thread long. International Game Pass is a wonderful thing. I think I'm in... Milan, today? Quick question: bigger waste of money, Robert Quinn or Eddie Jackson? Also, if no reporters ask Nagy why Mitch looks good in Buffalo but never did in Chicago's offense, I'll be very upset. We all know Mitch's limitations, and we don't have to doubt or relitigate those. But the direct comparison to how poorly Nagy adjusted to Mitch has to at least be brought up in a public forum.
Fuck that this is a stupid challenge. We're in the pre-season and you're up by 30 in the 4th quarter. Just let the guy have it.
Definitely Quinn. But I can't remember a player on the Bears that was as good as Jackson has the ability to be that I liked less.
International game pass seems to have the new hot mic feature but tbh its not all its cracked up to be.
Since I've seen what most of the first stringers for both teams have done... ST still awful. Agreed with those here saying it's coaching. Bad depth talent at positions like DB doesn't help, either. Speaking of, I mentioned last week I wanted to see the DB's prove they weren't awful. That didn't happen this week, but not for lack of chances. Outside of Jaylon Johnson, there aren't legit DB's on this roster. Eddie Jackson included. Offensive line should donate their paychecks to Make a Wish kids, because those kids would do the job just as well and would put the money to better use. I hope Nagy and Pace are treated really, really poorly when they eventually leave Chicago.
