Have we ever thought about doing this draft as an email draft rather than an import draft? If the draft order isnt synched i guess that could prevent it but doing it email style lets you see only players that are left and would thus end the times when one has tried to draft a player already gone. If we wnted we could even still list our draft pick here as we select it in flea flicker. The general idea is you launch the draft as email draft and players log into flea flicker when ita their pick and make the selection on flea flicker. It then sends a notice that a pick has been made and who it was and who is on the clock. Technically its a slow draft why they call it an email is beyond me. Just a thought yhat might mke things easier.
I do an email draft for my one league with chat. Done it 3 times now. It's still slow with people not coming on. Actually I feel it takes longer because people don't feel like they are holding people up.
I think the interaction we get on here is actually what keeps it moving as fast as it does. We all want to come in and read the thread, not just the picks. However, it might make it less congested if there was a pick thread and a conversation thread. Make your pick on the conversation thread, then copy it to the pick thread to keep it clean for those that need to get updated when the chart isn’t quite up to date.
As long as its done before season length of the draft doesnt bother me. I just like the fact you can pull up a list of available players. No biggie about not going that route was just a suggestion.
