Packers were probably resigned to the fact it will take a post June 1st deal to work with their cap restrictions. I'd say the Broncos are still the front runner, especially after the 49ers picked Lance. There's no possible way they go into 2021 with Drew Lock as their starter...Is there?? Maybe a trade with the Bears for Foles? I have no idea...
They just traded for Bridgewater, so will they trade for Rodgers a couple weeks later? Bridgewater is no Rodgers by any stretch, but will they trade for 2 QBs in the same offseason?
Packers signing of Bortles has me thinking they are calling rodgers on his retirment talk. If they are looking to trade him odds are they take the qb off of whoever they trade him to as part of the deal.
Suppose that depends on how much confidence they have in Love. Good enough offer and they may pull the trigger, but I agree that most likely outcome is Rodgers is playing for the Packers or not at all this season.
I don't see a scenario where Rodgers is traded to another team. I also don't see one where he is forced to retire. Basically, Aaron put the organization on blast so he could put as much leverage in his favor as he could. Initially, it worked really well and he ended up with some public support to back him up. Now that the sentiment is shifting, Rodgers is starting to let people know that the situation in Green Bay can be salvaged. Aaron will get a ridiculous contract that is frontloaded with guaranteed cash that makes it so he can walk away at the end of the 2023 or 2024 season (age 40 or 41) flush with Scrooge McDuck coins. And, he probably does it without giving the front office so much as 5 minutes notice. lol
...or he goes down in week 1 to injury, collects his cash and rides off into the sunset, lol. Aaron, give me; Which NFL QB holds his franchise by the balls for 500, please. "Its the Daily Double"
More like a random thought... SB 2022 is in LA where the Rams have a new QB. Last year the Buccaneers won the SB at home with a new QB. Might there be 2 in a row?
Im wasnt comparing QB's. Point being the irony if the Rams could go all the way, that would be a weird factor of host teams winning under new QB's. There is no comparison in general of Brady to Stafford being made by me.

OK........sorry Will I misread that wrong.
Sports writers are really idiotic, they predict that Najee Harris is going to light the league on fire but the Steelers will suck. The number one need for the Steelers was to improve the running game to take the next step towards a possible SB run and every single writer thinks that they hit a homer in the fixing of the running game. The majority of the writers think the Steelers will slide down to third or last place. How can you go backwards when you are going forward?

Sorry Gidi but the AFC is Locked and Loaded......Cleveland should win the North....Tenn and Indy will fight for the South...Kansas City is a Shoe in for the West ........Buffalo should win the East........leaving Pittsburgh out in the cold and a WC will be a tough task.
The sports writers in NOLA are gushing all over Jamis Winston. Still haven't figured out why. That's the same guy that threw 31 picks in Tampa. I'm scared to death.
Yeah sorry Gid. Najee should be very good. But a rapidly aging QB + losing 3/5 of your starting O-line does not 100% improvement in the run game make. Add to that the same questions at DB and with LB depth (especially edge rusher) and the Steelers are no Superbowl favorite to most.
Yeah give it 2-3 regular season games and we’ll see where the sports writers are at. Good news is if there’s two coaches who know how to simplify things for their players while remaining creative Payton is probably one of them.
