Lindsey ok is a clown show and I can tell you from personal perspective she's really freaking talented at photoshop.
Baltimore, MD. Ravens fan who photoshops her pics to look good and gain followers. She does have a good sense of humor. I'll give her that.
Nope I don't follow her. She just gets retweeted enough that I see her posts. Met her a couple years ago. Nice enough but doesn't look anything like the photos she posts and she has almost no football knowledge for a person that blogs about football. Just kinda rubs me the wrong way. If you wanna be a football chic, be a football chic. Learn the game. Invest. Don't live off your (doctored) images to attract followers. And as I said she does have a sense of humor. She can be pretty funny at times.
lol! Denial I'm sure she's "funny at times", but what about her take is so crazy? You don't think Ben is on the decline? You don't think he looks like a deer in the headlights these days?
Taunt the Steelers at your own peril. They did win the division, again, last season. Ben did look used, but I wouldn't start carving his tombstone just yet. The AFC North has at least 2 of the best coaches in the NFL, and while I really like Stephanski, he's not one of them yet. If he can take the division, then we can have a little room to talk, and I sincerely hope he gives that luxury. For now he's #3, and there remain 2 hurdles to winning the AFC North, that can only happen on the field. I'm ready to take my swings, but I won't say I'm confident we sweep either team at this stage of the year.
im not speaking for beach, but he isn’t a fan of Ben. He’s like us, he doesn’t think it will effect the Steelers winning, similar to we never thought, every preseason, that our shitty roster would keep us from winning.
I'm just giving you a hard time, pal. I actually don't follow her, either. I just always enjoy Steelers slander on the TL and that's what popped up today.
Completely fair. I did say a few pages back that, while I enjoy the current trend of trying to bury the Steelers, I think ultimately this season's AFC North champion will come down to them versus us. Not ready to put them in the basement just yet.
Which Ben are we getting? The guy that through 9 games had 22 TDs / 4 INTs and was in the MVP discussion or the guy over the 2nd half of the season? The optimist in me says he was coming off major elbow surgery and he didn't have the arm strength needed for the offense they tried to run last year. A real off-season of throwing and a new offense will mean more endurance to get through the season. The pessimistic in me says he's dumb as a box of rocks, will buck the new game plan and want to throw it 40 times a game again in 2021. His arm turns to jelly around week 12 and Tomlin refuses to yank him. I can't predict what Ben will look like. As Irish says, I'm not a fan of him and was ready to move on. But I also know what this team has done without him in the past - win more games than they lose so the idea that they are going to be the AFC North pushover if he's not playing at an elite level is hilarious to me. The Steelers WILL run the football much better in 2021. And they are as talented as anyone in the WR room. Freiermuth is a key guy for them. If he can make in impact as a rookie like Heath Miller did in '05 the offense can be very good. The defense is already very good. Health will be the key like it is for most teams.
I didn't take it that way. Was just explaining my distaste for her style and approach. She comes off as fake to me and her name pops up a lot more often in my neck of the woods.
I get it. Hell, I feel the same way about Colin Cowherd. Obviously different level, but he's on everywhere, every day, no matter where you are, and he's cashing in constantly with his ability to infuriate Cleveland Browns fans. As much as I want to punch his face in, I gotta give him credit. He's good at what he does.
In more AFC North news... Steelers' team rushing total, 2020: 1,351 yards Najee Harris rushing projection, 2021: 1,396 yards Adding to Cam Heyward's assertion he was going to carry 30-40 times per game (let's go right down the middle and say 35), we're looking at 595 carries *smashing* the NFL record by a whopping 179 attempts and yielding a 2.3 YPC average. Yikes.
lol! Maybe Heyward was thinking about his Ohio State days with the projected 30+ carries every week. Carlos Hyde might have done that once or twice.
Beach is "not a fan" of Ben. I gotta let that sink in. That is surprising to hear. FWIW, me neither. The idea of Steelers football sans Roethlisberger in 2021 is exciting to me, I'm not going to lie. There is no doubt they have been one of the best teams over the last 40 years, but having said that, I'm sensing a power shift throughout the AFC, not just the North. Maybe you are right and the Steelers are just bulletproof and they will be good no matter what, but I'm not sure the Rooney's can just rely on that. Just judging by the offseasons that each team in this division had, I think Pittsburgh definitely took a step back. Rebuild could be on the horizon...Mason Rudolph? C'mon. I appreciate Ben's career for what it is. Great (eventual) HoF QB. One of the all-time Browns-killers in NFL history. It looked pretty clear to me in 2020 that he was willing to do anything rather than get hit. And when he did get hit, he looked like he was about to die or quit.
