The Los Angeles Rams sign Landon Young - OT - Kentucky Only one I'm sure of. Had another name typed in at a different position, but T got ignored in the draft, and this guy IMO is a legit UDFA. Could have probably been graded as 6-7th rounder
Talking about linemen, I forgot I took Curhan as a UDFA in the GMO. At that time I didn't do my proper scouting on him yet.
Just to rant for a minute, I've gotten to the point where I take this exercise so seriously (almost like a job) that I can't possibly be as prepared as I want to be. I'm still finding guys I haven't scouted yet, projected as low as like 370-something on big boards somewhere that would have changed my draft plans for a team or two I was handling. Never heard their names, but turn on the tape and could make an argument for them as draft choices. The level of seriousness I bring to this makes it impossible to be as prepared as I would like to be. End rant.
The Seattle Seahawks sign Bryce Thompson - CB - Tennessee The Green Bay Packers sign Aashari Crosswell - S - Arizona St Packers sign Grant Stuard - LB - Houston
Now I'm quite happy with my later decisions to trade extra picks. Otherwise I would have taken Josh Ball at 5(8), Uphoff at 6(3), and I would have been really, REALLY tempted to go ahead and pull the trigger on both Ian Book and Elijah Mitchell with the fifth round comp picks. The sixth rounders that I used on Ball and Uphoff would have ended up being used to draft my practice squad. No idea what positions I'd take. I'd probably throw two more darts at edge rushers in the late sixth and sign WR Slowpoke Stonehands and DT Jabba McLardass IV as UDFAs.
Yeah, somehow I did better this time even though I was under fairly heavy sedation, working from my phone at the hospital. lol! Joe only sniped me on Roundtree because my phone froze for a second at the crucial moment.. lol!
The Indianapolis Colts sign Romeo McKnight - Edge - Charlotte The San Francisco 49ers sign Calvin Bundage - LB - Oklahoma St
lol. Well I decided not to post until 1 final refresh at the mark. StlCrtn already posted at that time and RT got his in before me. You had a window, albeit very small even with that 1 second freeze
I'm still shaking my head at the real Falcons team having $170 million of 2022 cap space tied up and only 19 players under contract. Next year's GMO is going to be a challenge.
It was pretty funny actually. Minor procedure (upper scope), but they did have to knock me out. They gave me a pre-op shot to relax me at about 8:45. I was feeling spectacular if you know what I mean. I had on my Cleveland Browns mask, so every nurse, doc and anesthesiologist wanted to know my thoughts on the Browns draft. I was ramblin on, who knows wtf I even said? lol! But they literally came in the room at 8:59 to put my IV in, and I made her wait about 25 seconds, just so I could get my pick in. Only to find out a few minutes later i got sniped. argh! It's okay though, because I'm happy with Hutherson and Felton. So all good priorities.
@xinik @munoz1987 @Willie @jd0313 @YoungHawk03 @gidion72 @neanderthal ike @Tim @matthewwillson29 You guys want to pick your own UDFA's before Joe and I do it for you for the sake of the draft value challenge? All previous signings are listed on page 1 to this point below round 7.
idk what happened, but I was ready, and then there was a hesitation. I probably hit the wrong button.
LOL this morning they sent a false Tornado Warning for Southern Ontario. I only learned about it now because thankfully I didn't get the alert on my phone before it was pulled. Clear skies all day.
