So in other words a great pick lol. I was surprised he was on the board. I love his grit and he placed with a chip on his shoulder.

 

I guess. Re-watched him since then because Colts and Rams reportedly interviewed him. Not worth much more than this, but he's worth a wing and a prayer.

I was deciding between him and Moehrig. Thought I was going to get a top safety in round 2, but went a different direction. Kind of regret passing on him now tbh

I'm guessing you went WR round 2 and was hoping you could start the 3rd with Holland, Grant or Melifonwu.

1(22) Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
No brainer even giving up a 4th to make sure he wears the black and gold. Jumps to the front of the pack in terms of talent and will start week 1.

2(23) Jalen Mayfield, OT, Michigan
I had him pegged as the #5 OT in the class and was amazed he fell to me at 55. Will start week 1 on the left side in what’s looking like a reshaped O-line.

3(24) Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio St.
perfect guy for the slot to start out. Hoping 2020 was a fluke due to the injuries he faced. Candidate to start outside in 2022, he will benefit from lots of playing time in 2021.

4(23) Quincey Roche, OLB, Miami (FL)
Purely an upside pick. Produced at temple and played well after transferring to Miami. The talent is clearly there and will be a great depth piece who will get the opportunity to rotate in.

6(32) Jimmy Morrisey, C, Pittsburgh
More of a need than anything but the local kid stays home. High football IQ and does a nice job getting to the next level to take on a LB.

7(17) Quintin Morris, TE, Bowling Green
Athletic kid who still trying to figure it out. Higher ceiling with minimal risk at this point made sense.

7(26) Shakur Brown, CB, Michigan St.
Love the way he plays. Had the blue collar mentality that the city has embraced. Effort all day and he looks at always improving his game.

 

Was willing to deviate for Shakur, but StlCrtn made my choice fairly simple. Gotta stick to the plan and go with the top name on my board (by a considerable margin)...

I mean I hate Wade. But otherwise I really love this draft for PIT. Would be huge.

Harris gives them the quality RB they've lacked recently. I think Roche is a big help for Watt/Highsmith, good value. Brown was possibly a late steal. And Mayfield/Morrisey should be a big help up front for a team that needs it. Morrisey could surprise. He's IMO the best late draftable C along with Drew Dalman. Kept expecting to get them later in all the wrong places in mocks.

Dude gets way overlooked because he didn't produce like the Bosa brothers and Chase. Still a spot for him in this league. He's a steal here in late 7th.

 

Wade plays best in the slot which is where he starts out wherever he ends up. I’m hoping his injuries last year is what hampered him. I went back to watch some film for 2019 and he was great.
